Pride and Prejudice Chapter 11 *NEW!!!!!!!*

  • Oct. 19th, 2007 at 7:30 PM

Chapter 11

Disclaimer: I DO NOT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM own Johnson ‘N’ Johnson or have ANY affiliations with it… you’ll understand why soon :)

“I had a really nice time tonight Matt…” Jane said as they stood in front of her flat.

“Me too.” Matt said smiling at her. He leaned in and gave her a soft sweet kiss before winking one more time at her, then walking away into the cold city.

Jane sighed before walking up the stairs to reach her flat’s door, her mind thinking about the date they’d just had.

Matt had been the perfect gentleman- being a business man who worked for a grand corporation, he had taken her out the most expensive and exclusive restaurant in London. He had attempted to enquire about her work and Jane tried to explain that she didn’t want to- alas it didn’t work. When she told him who she was he wore a surprised expression on his face- but was not impressed. Instead Matt simply shrugged it off.

Jane didn’t know how she felt about that, but she didn’t think too long about it. Matt liked to talk a lot which worked out well for Jane who wasn’t much for saying words rather than writing them.

Matt had asked her if she’d wanna go out with him again, able to find no excuse of why not to Jane agreed. Sighing as she looked for the right key to open her door to her newly bought flat, she pondered as to whether she made the right decision or not…

“How does a month sound Nessa?” Johnny asked Vanessa as they walked out of the coffee shop heading back towards his flat.

“Sounds good. And we tell them we broke it off between us right before Jim and I had relations- I don’t want them printing I cheated on you.” Vanessa said rubbing her hand over the small bump growing in her belly.

“No problem Van, we’ll set them straight.” He sighed.

“Are you going to be ok Johnny?”

They walked into the apartment complex as Johnny smiled at her.

“I’m always ok, I just wanna enjoy us being ‘together’ for the next month- maybe find some peace in my life before the chaos of the press comes. Don‘t feel bad for me though, you have a good guy with you and a baby on the way- you deserve happiness.”

Johnny took her hand and gave it a squeeze as they reached his door.

“Why won’t you open!” A woman next to them shouted, Johnny and Vanessa looked at her. She was Johnny’s new next door neighbor who obviously hadn’t done much in her life alone. Her long brown hair was covering her whole face as she madly shook the knob to her door.

She shook the key in the lock and began to kick the door, absolutely frustrated that the knob wasn’t turning. Finally the door nearly flew open surprising the woman nearly making her fall.

“are you ok there?” Johnny asked, he and Vanessa stood hand in hand staring at this woman who obviously seemed more wired than a normal human being.

Finally she moved her long straight hair out of her face turning to them, “I’ll be fi-.”

Jane stopped mid-word along with her breath as her eyes caught sight of someone she had regretted letting go everyday for the past 10 years.

“Johnny?” She said in a voice so soft it was barely audible. He looked not too much different from what she remembered him.

When Johnny had stayed with the Austen’s for the summer 10 years ago, his hair had been short and spiked and his face clean shaven. Now, his hair was down to his jaw and a goatee grew on his face, his skin was even darker than she remembered- and Jane could’ve sworn his eyes had never been that deep of a shade of brown.

“Jane…” he said her name like a breath of fresh air. Johnny could tell immediately that Jane had most definitely grown up a lot. She wasn’t the girl she once was. Her hair was a lot longer, and she seemed more pale than what he remembered. But never the less, she was breathtaking.

“Aren’t you going to introduce me?” Vanessa asked, breaking Johnny and Jane from their trance.

Jane noticed them holding hands, and worst of all she noticed the bump that was this short, petite, blond Frenchwoman’s belly. ‘Johnny’s baby’ Jane thought, a million emotions rushing to her all at once.

“Uh… yeah. Vanessa this is Jane Austen- and old friend of mine. Jane, this is Vanessa my…”

“Girlfriend.” Vanessa finished for him, assuming the role they had both agreed on. “are you really Jane Austen? As in the writer?” She asked with wide eyes.

Jane laughed uncomfortably. “Guilty.”

“OH MY GOD!” Bellowed Vanessa, Johnny had never heard her so excited about something. He didn’t even know Vanessa read Jane’s work. “I love your stories!! Especially ‘Pride and prejudice’- it’s my favorite of all time!”

“thank you, thank you very much.” jane said softly, never had she felt so uncomfortable in her life, and she could tell by looking at Johnny who had his head down that he felt the same way.

“Please, I insist that we all go out to dinner tomorrow night. Me, Johnny, you- and a boyfriend if you have one-”

“Husband, Nessa.” Johnny cut her off.

“no!” Jane said loudly, Johnny raised his eyebrows at her.

“I’ve never been married.”

Johnny’s face relaxed comfortably, it felt as though a ten year guilt had been lifted from his shoulders.

“But I’ll happily invite my boyfriend Matt.” Jane added, ‘look at him he has a girlfriend and a soon to be family- we’re just friends… remember, just friends…’ she kept thinking to herself.

“that would be wonderful! Why don’t all four of us meet back here tomorrow?” Not waiting for an answer Vanessa continued to give Johnny a light kiss on the lips. “I’ll see you both tomorrow.”

Jane watched with wide eyes as the beautiful woman walked away happily. Johnny kept his eyes focused on the wall across from him. He knew at one point he should’ve probably told Vanessa about Jane- so that way she wouldn’t have assumed the role of girlfriend in front of her. But after hearing about this Matt guy, Johnny was happy that he hadn’t told her.

“So…” Jane began.

“so… do you want to come in for a drink?”

“I’d like that.”

“Nine year hiatus huh?” Johnny commented as they sat at opposite ends of his couch drinking their wine.

“Well, more like a 9 year writers block- but don’t tell anybody.” Jane and Johnny laughed, amazed at how long it had actually been since they last saw each other.

“Umm… I never got to thank you. I know it was you who had the real story printed 10 years ago- you pretty much saved my sanity, likeability and career. I’ve never had the chance to thank you for that.” Johnny said sincerely, staring deeply into her eyes.

“Oh, don’t worry about it Johnny. I mean it’s the least I could do- especially after you got me a publisher..”

An uncomfortable silence filled the room as they sipped on their wine. Finally Jane was unable to take it- she had to mention the one topic they were both avoiding.

“Good for you Johnny.” She said, Johnny looked at her confused.

“For what?”

“For getting what you wanted. You’re gunna be a papa soon- it’s what you’ve always wanted. Good for you J, I’m really happy that your dream’s going to come true.” Jane said meaning every word of it.

Johnny sighed as guilt filled him, he had to tell her.

“Jane I-”

“Don’t Johnny, let’s not talk about this anymore. Vanessa’s sweet and adorable, let’s leave it at that k?”

“Uhm… I really have to tell you-”

“Johnny, no. change the subject.” She pleaded. Johnny knew that there was no getting around her on this subject for now- it seemed that she hadn’t lost her stubbornness… just as she found he hadn’t lost his curiosity.

“So, who’s this Matt guy? Dated him long?”

Jane raised her eyebrows in surprise at his blunt question.

“No, not exactly. We just had our first date, you caught me right after it. …it was a very lovely evening.”

‘see…’ Jane thought to herself. ‘look at us we’re having a normal conversation about other people, everything’s going juuust fine- I hope.’

“I’m sure. So what does Matt do?”

“He’s works for a large corporation- a family business, ’Johnson’.” Jane said proudly, Johnny looked at her ridiculously.

“Johnson? As in Johnson ‘n’ Johnson- the pharmaceutical empire?”

“Yep.”

“Wooow…” Johnny sighed chuckling slightly before finishing off his glass. “Boy your family must really love him.”

“he’s a nice guy too ya know, kind and generous.” Jane snapped putting her glass down on the table.

“well he just sounds perfect doesn’t he? I’m sure he takes you will buy you a diamond ring as big as a baby’s fist just for you- and I’m sure he’ll be more than happy to breed with such fine blood-”

“You have no right to talk to me like that!” Jane shouted standing up, Johnny following suit.

“Hey hun- you’re the one who thinks he’s SUCH a great guy! Well, I feel so privileged to meet such royalty tomorrow night, it‘s not everyday one gets to meet a man who inherited money because of lotion! - tell me do I bow when I meet him?!”

“I can’t believe I thought we could be friends! You’re just as much of a jerk from the moment I met you!” Jane shouted.

“Friends Jane! Friends?! You forget darling- that’s not how the story ends!”

At this Johnny held up his right hand, her white gold ring still placed on his ring finger.

“It wasn’t real Johnny.” Jane said, defeated. Johnny was going to have a family, she had to do the right thing. “It was a foolish promise and I knew it from the moment you left. I only needed an ending to my story- and that just happened to be the best one.”

Her words stabbed Johnny, he couldn’t help but wince. Soon enough he found his strength in his words come back to him as he looked at her right hand.

“Then why do you still have my ring on after all these years?” He asked softly.

Jane clenched her fists, she hated how hard he was making this. Slowly she walked up to him, her stone-cold look never faltering as she looked him straight in the face.

“Now you listen Depp. Tomorrow night should be enjoyable- I need you to promise that you won’t taunt me or Matt-”

“absolutely not. I hope your boy toy has thick skin. And I hope you do too.” Johnny said bitterly looking straight at her.

“You won’t break me, there’s nothing to break. Just friends is what we are. No more. I‘m with Matt, you have Vanessa- and that‘s the way it is.”

Not letting Johnny say another word Jane opened his front door before turning once more to him.

“See you tomorrow- friend.”

She shut the door behind her leaving Johnny alone in a heap of his own emotions. He knew Jane was trying to keep them as just friends for the sake of his “family”, but what angered him is that she was refusing to listen to him about it.

First thing he knew he had to do was get Matt out of the picture-that would be the easy part. From there he knew his work would be cut out for him in getting Jane out of the ‘friend-zone’- even after he would tell her about Vanessa.

Letting each other go had been their biggest regrets. And even after all these years, he still wanted her more than anything in the world, and he was willing to work and do anything to make it that way.

After all these years Johnny still loved her. Now the question was if she still loved him.

Pride and Prejudice- Ch's. 9 &10

  • Oct. 11th, 2007 at 9:14 PM

Chapter 9

Jane looked at herself in the mirror, she looked like cake frosting. She was amazed at exactly how many people could come out on such short notice for the wedding. Most of the family that had come she didn’t even know, but it was easy for her to be able to tell the difference between her and William’s family- anyone that looked like a hobbit was from his side.

She’d had a busy morning trying to escape the grasp of her ever controlling mother who insisted she go to a quick tan at the salon. Instead, Jane found herself in her robe standing at the phone booth in the middle of the empty park

“Hello? Is this people magazine?” Jane said into the phone.

“Yes, who is speaking?”

“a very close friend of Johnny Depp’s. I have a story for you.”

“How do I know that you even know him?”

“Are you really going to argue this? I have the honest truth about what’s really happened between him and Kate- I mean if you don’t believe that I know him, well I’ll just take the story to some other magazine who’ll believe me… I’m sure E News would like an interview…”

“Ok ok! Fine kid, what do you want for the story? How much are you asking for?”

“I don’t want any money. I just want to be promised you’ll change your current cover and print the story today.”

“This better be worth it kid…ok tell me the story.”

Jane looked down at the magazine on the table in her room, for once it had a nice picture of Johnny smiling on the cover and it read ‘The Truth About Johnny and Kate- It’s Not His Baby! The Secret Lover Kate had! And Johnny’s Desire for a Family of His Own!’

Finally she had done something right for him.

She woke up with Johnny gone, she knew it was best he left before she woke up, made things easier to let go. All he left was a little note with his skull ring on top of it.

‘Fate will keep our promise.’ the note read.

Just as she was going to take her plain white band ring off her ring finger on her right hand, she found it was gone. Smiling, she knew Johnny had taken it with him. She’d told him that she had that ring ever since she was little, she was happy it was with him.

Jane looked down at his ring on her right ring finger, it was a little big but it never slid off. She knew she would keep it on until the promise was kept.

“Ready pumpkin?” Her father said happily holding out his arm for her to take, Jane numbly entwined hers with his as they began to walk down the isle towards her inevitable end.

For the entire time Jane had looked down at William, wondering when the last time was that he had decided to comb his hair.

“Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife? To love, to hold, and to honour until death do you part?” The priest asked.

“I do.” William replied.

“And do you, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband. To love, to hold, and to honour until death do you part?”

Johnny sat by himself at the table as the party raged on, taking another sip from his glass of wine. It had been 7 months and finally filming the movie had been finished.

‘Now it’s time for promotion… yay.’ he thought sarcastically. It had felt nice to get back into work especially in a place like Paris, it helped take his mind off of Jane.

Word had spread fast that William Collin’s, son of a Duke had been married. It only spread fast because so many were surprised.

Johnny sighed and ran his hand through his hair before looking down at his right ring finger where one of his skull rings used to sit, it had been replaced with a white gold band.

When he had heard that they actually did get married, he’d almost contemplated taking her ring off- but couldn’t bring himself to it. They promised.

That morning he left Jane was the hardest thing he’d ever done in his life. Johnny couldn’t stop kissing her face, he was almost positive that she was going to wake up. But thankfully, she hadn’t.

He wrote her a note and kissed it before laying it on the pillow next to her, placing his ring on top of it- knowing that she would wear it.

Slowly slipping the ring off of Jane’s finger, Johnny placed it on his, biting his bottom lip holding back his cry as he looked at her face one last time.

After he snuck back out of the house at 3 in the morning, he’d found himself sitting in his car 3 blocks away from where she lived sobbing as he hunched over his steering wheel.

Johnny was about to take another sip from his glass until he found it was empty, just as he was about ready to stand up his eyes caught something that he hadn’t intended.

Just as the woman turned around, Johnny saw that this beautiful creature had an even more beautiful face. The blonde looked straight at him as he stared at her in awe, his heart beating faster as she began to walk towards him.

“Hello.” She said when she reached his table, holding out her hand.

Chapter 10

Present Day

36 year old Johnny Depp walked through the streets of London bundled up in his scarf, hat, and trench coat. Winter had come as of course the weather was bitter cold. As he stepped inside the bookstore, his took a deep breath looking for his next fix.

It had been 10 years since he had walked out of Jane’s room. In those 10 years he hadn’t heard from her once. The only thing he’d heard of her was her book released 7 years ago. It was dubbed one of the greatest pieces of writing ever written.

Johnny hoped that at one point she would expose herself- just so he could see her face. Alas she didn’t, staying hidden only bringing out a new crowd of people insisting they were the real Jane Austen. After all she wasn’t Jane Austen anymore- for the past 10 years she is Jane Collin’s.

He didn’t even want to think if she actually had children with Bilbo Baggins, the thought made him nauseous- even after all these years.

Johnny hadn’t picked up ‘Pride and Prejudice.’ He couldn’t.

It was their story but with a fairytale ending, he couldn’t even watch the movie version when Keira had invited him to the premier.

Johnny lifted his hand to the bookshelf and scanned through the backs of the books, looking for a title that caught his eye.

He and Vanessa had dated for 5 years. In the beginning everything was good between them. For the first couple of years their lives together had been good, they’d been happy. But slowly they found themselves friends more than anything else. So they parted as friends ending their relationship, but only they knew.

Vanessa and Johnny figured that if the media still thought that they were dating, they would find less interest in other parts of their lives. So Johnny and Vanessa were still ‘dating’ to the public, while actually dating other people in private. They kept in contact from time to time. When Johnny would have a premier Vanessa would go out and be his date, and vise versa, just to make sure it was believed.

Surprisingly Vanessa and Johnny got along way better now that they had been friends for the past two years, but things were changing… Vanessa is pregnant with her current boyfriends child. They knew they would have to end their public affair in the next 3 months when she would begin to show signs- but Johnny dreaded that day more than anything else.

Then things would be back to the way they used to be with constant questions if he was still single, being bombarded with paparazzi so they could catch him with a woman, every step he took being watched and scrutinized. Three more months of the bliss being alone without the pressure of media.

“Having trouble finding a book sir?” A short stout man asked behind Johnny.

“Uhm… yeah, actually.” Johnny chuckled.

“if I may recommend a book from the Austen collection. You’ve been coming in here every week for the past 2 months and have not stepped within range of her 3 books. I know many call them to be more feminine, but they suit anyone I know who reads them- male or female.”

Johnny smiled uncomfortably at the man, “Well I’ve already read Emma and sense and sensibility-”

“But not ‘Pride and Prejudice’ ?! Great Scots sir you must! Don’t even bother paying, I’m giving you this book, on the house for being such a good customer here.”

Johnny began to protest but the old man wouldn’t have it as he shoved the book at Johnny’s chest, who took it awkwardly into his hand smiling a thank you at the owner before walking out of the book store.

He sat in his flat all alone on the couch, staring at the book in front of him listening as finally his new ’flat neighbor’ had moved in next door. He didn’t even care who it was.

It was almost surreal. This was their story. The entire world had read it and knew it. This was the story he had sworn to himself he would never read.

10 years of being apart from her, 5 years of actually being single after Vanessa. And in those 5 years between filming movies Johnny had gone on dates- each time it would seem the girls never changed. He didn’t care for any of them. Sometimes Johnny would only go out with them just to ensure that he had someone to sleep next to that night. But no matter what he’d never felt satisfied.

Johnny didn’t know if it was because of Jane that he’d never found love again, he didn’t even know if he still loved her. 10 years later and it was hard for him to tell.

Looking at the shiny white band that hugged his right ring finger- he sighed picking up the book, placing it under his mattress.

Johnny simply couldn’t read it.

31 year old Jane Austen sipped her coffee in the small Café in the heart of London. Finally she had decided to move to the city, buy her own flat, and stay away from her family. Something she knew she should’ve done years ago.

Staring at the blank page in front of her, she tapped the back of her pencil against it. 10 years after writing ‘Pride and Prejudice’ she had gone blank. No muse, No inspiration, nothing. So her publisher released that she was on a hiatus taking a break from writing, when really there was no break- she just couldn’t write.

It had been 10 years since Johnny, and 10 years since she walked out on her own wedding only to later find out that Collin’s married a Duchess who was invited to the wedding right after Jane left.

Staying and editing the book had been torture for Jane. After it was released she had never once picked it up to read it. She couldn’t bare to read the words.

Even with her secret still kept safe Jane found that men still held a keen interest in her. Dating guy after guy none of them appealed to her. She didn’t know if she was still in love with Johnny after 10 years, but she did know that she never loved any of those men.

“Excuse me is this seat taken?” A man with jet black spiked hair and bright green eyes asked Jane breaking her from her train of thoughts.

“No it’s not.” Jane replied absent mindedly not caring that the man was obviously handsome her eyes unconsiously going to the skull ring on her right ring finger.

“I’m Matt by the way.” He said holding out his hand, smiling at her.

“I’m Jane.” She replied taking his soft hand in hers.

“So Jane what’s a girl like you doing all by yourself in this little coffee shop?”

“Work.” She replied simply.

“Listen I know this may sound sudden, but maybe we could go out to dinner tonight if you’re not busy?” Matt asked innocently enough.

Jane sighed softly, knowing this guy would never leave.

“Alright.” She agreed, she had nothing better to do anyways. But as she looked at his smiling face once more, this time she couldn’t help notice how handsome he actually was. …maybe her night wouldn’t be so bad after all.

pride and Prejudice

  • Oct. 11th, 2007 at 9:13 PM

DISCLAIMER: The idea of pride and prejudice is part of this story, but the events and everything in between is my own. I do NOT own Jane Austen (herself or her writing) OR Johnny Depp- I wish I had at least one. I dream of writing like Jane and dream of Johnny laying on my be- *Cough*… anyways, I don’t own either. So don’t sue! (And I also don’t own or have anything to do with the film ‘Becoming Jane’)

chapter 1

Jane had written that sentence 3 months ago.

The rest of the page- blank.

The clock next to her bed read four- in the morning that is.

“God I feel like I’m stuck in the 18th century…” She whispered to herself as she remembered the events of the day.

A new man her parents tried to set her up with- ‘yes but you see he is of a respectable status!’ her mother always said.

Jane felt in the 18th century, so she wrote it.

Her large green eyes sparkled as the lamp showed on them in her dimly lit room, she was never going to get any sleep and she knew it.

Getting dressed, she pulled her waist long brown hair into a bun, and as usual- put no makeup on her olive colored skin.

Standing at only 5’4”, she picked up her notebook and pen before heading out the back door into the acres of green land before her.

The sun was barely beginning to rise as she began her usual long walks.

“… wit versus beauty… money versus love… reality versus fiction…” She mumbled to herself as she lightly bit on her lip.

Jane’s Journal was clutched tightly to her chest with her pen in her pocket searching for an inspiration, a muse- even a new idea- anything that would get her out of this writers block she was in.

She knew she had something with that sentence- she just knew it.

Youthful Jane had written 2 full lengths novels already, Emma and Sense and Sensibility . Both of which had been released. Emma 2 years ago which was a mild success, Sense and Sensibility’ which was quite a large success after which turned Emma into a bigger success.

But to the worlds surprise Jane Austen had found it very easy to keep her face hidden from the public. Only her name was printed on the book, no picture or biography of her and absolutely NO public appearances.

There had to have been at least a thousand Jane Austen’s in the world. When Emma was released, word went along with the book that Jane Austen was to keep herself away from public, only leaving her name to the imagination. 2 years later when Sense and Sensibility was released, the success being greater than Emma , Jane Austen’s all over the world popped up claiming that they were the great author.

Of course the real Jane Austen rolled her eyes at all of this nonsense. Some of those fake Jane’s had even gotten public appearances making up stories as to how they wrote such novels. At one point a fifty year old man came out with the name Jane Austen and insisted that he was the writer because he had a sex change half way through his life- quite an amusing story actually.

Emma , the story of a woman who’s matchmaking skills were used on everyone but herself, until she found that special one who was right in front of her.

Sense and Sensibility , three sisters left with no inheritance who fall in love both with the wrong men, or at least they think so.

Her story’s, so full of romance, excitement, and love- yet she had none. Nothing. Nada.

True she loved her two novels dearly and felt deeply connected to them- because in them were written her deepest dreams. As Jane had noticed, only the negatives in her books connected with her reality….

False matchmaking, awkward men, a money thirsty family- yep just a normal day at the Austen household.

Of course her family disapproved of her publishing books, ‘a respectable woman stays the lady of the house’ her mother always says.

In other words, for her to be like her perfect older sister.

Jane dreamed of having a sister like herself, someone to talk to and to confide in. But her older sister Lydia was married and off popping out babies like a tennis ball machine. Jane did not care to much for her whereabouts, they never got alone anyways.

But soon- very soon, her sister would be back for the summer with her husband and now 3 children.

‘3 months- oh dear god.’ Jane thought to herself.

These were not to be the only guests in the Austen household this coming summer. The past year her father (An extremely successful business man) decided to invest in some movie productions. Long story short, the 2 actors and the director of some Wood movie were going to stay the summer for the next three months.

Everybody arrived tomorrow- and Jane could have cared less. As long as she got almost to the end of her new novel by the end of the three months and no one got in her way- she would be fine.

Her family happily kept her secret and Jane felt no obligation what so ever to not mention who she really was to the 3 new visitors. As far as she was concerned they wouldn’t exist.

Boy was she going to be wrong…

Chapter 2

“5 young girls of low wealth…” Jane whispered to herself as her fingers lightly played the piano.

It was eight in the morning and Jane had been playing the piano since 5- attempting to find some inspiration.

Of course the shouts of her mother hadn’t ceased- as she blamed her every unhappiness upon Jane.

“Jane- our guests are here!!” Mrs. Austen’s shrill voice called from the living room next door.

Jane listened as she played lightly on the grand instrument, 2 deep voices and female voice that she could not recognize. Then there was the sound of her sister Lydia and her husband James with their three wild children- those were the voices that Jane could recognize.

Yet even so, Jane did not leave the piano and most definitely did not stop playing. Her fingers touched the keys rather lightly sending a soothing sound throughout the house which she found quite comforting- her mother thought quite different.

“Jane stop that racket and get in here!!” Mrs. Austen shouted from the kitchen- no doubt where everyone was sitting having breakfast.

Jane stopped playing to give her fingers a light rest.

“Oh thank God.” Miss Austen sighed happily at her daughters ceasing.

The guests had found it rather comforting really.

26 year old Johnny Depp stared at the empty chair across from him before shooting a glance at Tim Burton- his best friend who sat next to him. Their curiosity intense about this girl.

Patricia Arquette was the last new guest at the Austen estate, but unlike Johnny and Tim- she could not stay for 3 months, only for the day.

“I deeply apologize about my daughter’s rudeness !” Miss. Austen shouted loudly to make sure that Jane could hear her in the piano room.

No more than a split second later, just as Mrs. Austen was raising her tea cup to her lips did loud and almost violent piano playing erupt throughout the house making everyone jump- including Mrs. Austen who spilled her tea all over her neck.

“JANE!!” She shouted from the top of her lungs.

In the room next door Jane giggled to herself- she could even hear her father laugh at his wife in the kitchen.

Ceasing her playing for good ( at the moment) Jane’s stomach growled as she grabbed her pen and paper before heading to the kitchen.

Everybody looked up at the kitchen door as it open, in walked Jane looking as innocent as she possibly could before sitting down and drinking from her glass of juice silently.

A servant came up behind her and put down a plate of pancakes in front of her, in which Jane wasted no time drenching them in syrup and barely needing time to breath as she inhaled the rather large breakfast.

Everyone else ignored her and continued with their breakfast and conversations- except for one.

Johnny could hardly believe this specimen before him, an unusual thing she was. Her beauty held an outmost elegance, a timeless face and yet there seemed to be so much in the way before getting to that.

Jane sensed someone looking at her, looking up from her plate with a mouth full of food she saw a (rather handsome) man stare at her with his dark eyes, brown skin and full lips staring at her with a look of utter disgust.

Jane felt appalled in his presence, that he dared give her such a look- thinking he was so much better.

‘Typical movie star’ Jane thought the herself, he probably thought he was king of the world because he can say a few lines.

Jane rolled her eyes a him- most definitely not going unnoticed by him either, and continued to eat her food.

After breakfast they all sat in the living room with cups of tea in their hands- against Jane’s will she sat there too.

“So Mr. Depp- we have heard about your new engagement, congratulations.” Mrs. Austen said cheerfully.

Johnny didn’t even make eye contact with the woman as he did not acknowledge her. Taking a sip from his warm tea- he didn’t even smile knowing fully well that the room was still in silence awaiting his ‘thanks’ which became obvious he would not give.

Jane rolled her eyes at him and without taking notice of it began to write furiously in her notebook.

‘…till his manners gave a disgust which turned the tide of his popularity; for he was discovered to be proud, to be above his company and above being pleas-’

“Jane! How rude of you to just go off scratching in that bloody notebook of yours!” Mr. Darcy exclaimed at his youngest.

“Almost as rude as not thanking a compliment.” Jane snapped quickly, Johnny furrowed his eyebrows at her.

“Excuse me I’m going to go for a walk.” Jane said standing up and walking out the front door not looking back.

When dinner had arrived Jane was pleased to hear the voice of Tim Burton, he was quite the unusual fellow but with a kind smile and as Jane saw with his wonderful agreeable conversation- a kind soul.

“…so anyways enough about me…” Tim said as the entire table roared with laughter at his last story- all but Johnny who sat taking sip after sip of his wine. Since he arrived he hadn’t spoken a word to anyone.

‘How could Tim even call him his friend let alone consider him his brother?’ Jane wondered to herself, averting her attention from Tim for a moment.

“Jane- I see you always writing away in that notebook journal of yours…” Tim began with his American accent. “and I hafta admit I find this intriguing since your name is Jane Austen…”

The entire table went silence at his recognition, this even caught the attention of Johnny who stared at Jane with wondering eyes.

“… well, I was just saying because I love Jane Austen’s work. And I’m gonna be honest here- I don’t really think the real Jane Austen is a woman who had a sex change.” Tim said.

Once again everybody laughed at the table, all but one.

“Well, you’ll be happy to know Mr. Burton that our daughter here really is the real Jane Austen.” Mrs. Austen said less than happy that he found this intriguing, Lydia rolled her eyes and her rather unintelligible husband kept eating mashed potatoes.

“Mum! It won’t stay a secret if your go off telling it to everyone you please! We’ve never had this problem before!” Jane exclaimed.

Tim’s eyes widened at this- but no reaction came as surprising to Jane as Johnny’s. All of a sudden it was as if Johnny had been lit to life.

“Well… uh… I’m honored.” Tim slowly said, trying to find his words as he put his hand to his heart looking at Jane sincerely.

“aw Tim,” Jane began, reaching over the table putting her hand on top of his. “It’s an honor to have you stay in this house for the next three months. Never have I met someone with so much imagination and creativity, something I wish I possessed-”

“well don’t all writers have creativity?” Johnny said aloud, cutting Jane off and catching the attention of everyone since those were his first words he’d spoken yet.

“Not all- ones who write autobiographies simply write what’s happened to them, biographers what’s happened to another-” She began.

“Yeah but nevertheless it still requires an amount of creativity to write sentences to keep the reader in suspense and interested.” Johnny replied in a bland and obvious tone. Jane was about ready to fire back at such arrogance, but Tim did not wish to make such a nice night into a useless argument by possibly two of the most stubborn people ever.

“Ok you two- take it easy there.” Tim began. “I’d listen to what she says Johnny- after all she is the writer here. But I’d listen to Johnny too Jane, if you think I have imagination- this man next to me is where I get it all from. His creativity is like none other.” Tim said smiling at Jane and patting Johnny on the back.

After dinner they all sat in the sitting room near the fire place in a nice comfortable silence- except for Jane’s writing in her note book.

“Jane what is it exactly that you’re working on?” Tim inquired curiously.

“well, I think it’s going to be my next novel. I started it three months ago.”

“So it should be completed by now, why are you still writing in it?” Lydia asked, obvious annoyance in her tone.

“Because- Dearest sister-” Jane shot back sarcastically. “-I’ve only had one sentence written for the past three months. Inspirations come and go- and right now I feel as though I’m on a roll. …we can’t all be rocks who sit behind desks like James.” Jane said acknowledging Lydia’s idiotic husband who didn’t even know his name was said, instead only continued to eat his ice cream.

“James has good money and a stable job that provides him with it- which is much more than you’ll ever have!” Lydia snapped.

“You’re right I won’t have it because I won’t marry the first pompous moron with more money than God who only has an IQ high enough to say the words “I do” with barely drooling on himself. Excuse me for wanting intelligence and some sort of honor in someone.” Jane replied calmly and rather quickly.

“Someone’s rather witty I see…” Tim said smiling at Jane’s direction who looked down with a light blush, she had never been complimented so.

“Don’t encourage her Mr. Burton, she needs to get married and she knows it.” Mrs. Austen said sighing at her youngest.

“But why? I mean she’s only 21 Mrs. Austen-” Tim began to argue.

“In our sort of circles, we all carry noble blood and it must be insured that it will be passed on with another noble person. Marriage at young is encouraged to ensure that rank is kept you see. …allow me to put it this way- Prince William would never marry a pop star.” Mrs. Austen said. Jane had noticed that Mrs. Austen rather enjoyed the strange presence of the amazing Tim Burton, but found his friend Johnny Depp to be of lesser company. Much lesser.

“Yes but you see Tim my young little Jane dreams of affection, and I believe that one day she’ll find it.” Mr. Austen said, smiling at his daughter who smiled back at him and mouthed a ‘thank you’.

“Don’t worry Jane, someone as beautiful as you will most definitely find someone.” Tim said smiling at her.

At this Jane smiled, It had been a while since someone had heightened her low esteem. But her smile soon fell as she saw Johnny roll his eyes at Tim’s comment. Anger rushed through her blood like an untamed fire.

She was too angered by her emotions to listen to Tim as he spoke about the love of his life Helena, for she was too focused on her anger towards Johnny.

Without excusing herself Jane ran straight upstairs and slammed her bedroom door behind. Jane immediately out her note book with shaking hands and tears threatening her eyes.

‘…His character was decided. He was the proudest, most disagreeable man in the world, and every body hoped that he would never come there again…

Chapter 3

“Jane dress nicely for lunch today, we’re all going to have a picnic out in the fields.” Mrs. Austen said quickly just as Jane walked through the living room filled with everyone as they at for their morning coffee and tea.

She walked out through the front door and headed to the park mumbling to herself.

“…Burton is Bingley. Tim Bingley? Thomas Bingley? Charles Bingl-”

“Jane!!” A deep voice shouted from behind her. She had just reached the park when she had found the name of her character, sighing in frustration at the intruding voice, Jane saw Johnny running towards her.

Not a split moment later Jane turned back around and kept walking around the path of the park. But her fast walking didn’t keep Johnny away for long.

“Why didn’t you stop?” Johnny said suddenly next to her, trying to catch his breath almost frightening Jane half to death.

“Because I’m in a the middle of a very important brain storm.” She said looking straight at him really for the first time. It was then she noticed just how handsome he was.

“Do you mind if I join in on your walk?” Johnny asked suddenly, Jane looked at him surprised.

“Don’t you have a fiancée to call?”

“No. …no I don’t. We broke it off a month ago. That’s why I’m here- to get away from all the press.” He said softly yet harshly, Jenna simply couldn’t place his strange emotions.

“Oh… well, I’m sorry.” She said awkwardly, she had no idea.

“me too.” He said, giving a soft closed smile. It was the first time Jenna had seen anything other than a hint of a frown on his face.

“So, what’s your new book about?” He inquired, looking to change the subject.

“It’s about 5 young girls with little wealth, and a mother who is marriage obsessed and does everything in her power to set all of her daughters up with rich men.”

“Sounds a little close to home for you huh?” Johnny said, as they began to walk on the pathway in the deserted park.

“Yeah, but this book I think is turning out to be the most personal of all.”

“Do you mind if I take a look at it?”

“NO! er-… I mean, I don’t like people reading my works in progress. I’m not even half way done with it.”

“How’s the plot so far?”

“Well… the lives of my characters have gone from bad to worse.” She said.

“JANE! YOUR AUNT KATRINA HAS ARRIVED!!” A shrill voice shouted from across the way, Johnny and Jane looked back to see it was Mrs. Austen who had just shouted out of a window from the house at them.

Both of them stopped walking and turned around to walk back to the house.

“Well… maybe things will look up for you poor characters.” Johnny said, not surprising Jane with his frown permanently embedded on his face.

“Doubt that. I hate my aunt Katrina.” Jane stated bitterly.

“Where are you characters now in the book?”

“Well, they’re at a ball. That’s all I can tell you.”

“A ball? Like a dance? Man, I would hate that.”

“Does anything live up to your liking?” Jane snapped.

“Most definitely not dancing. I hate it. Avoid it at all costs.”

Before Jane could snap again at Johnny he had entered the house leaving her outside, the conversation had turned cold.

“My dear sister, it’s been so great of you to join us for dinner this evening.” Mrs. Austen said kindly across the table to Katrina before taking a bite of her chicken.

“Truly it’s been kind of you to invite me and my daughter Emily.” Katrina replied in a voice that would make anyone cringe.

Emily was Katrina’s daughter only 19 years old, but it did go unnoticed by everyone that she was eying Johnny rather intently.

“So Jane, still scratching on that ridiculous paper of yours?” Katrina asked smugly. She had always insulted Jane by any means possible.

“Yes Aunt, still.” Jane replied blandly.

“And when do you plan on getting married?”

“Whenever I feel like it.”

“Jane how dare you be rude to your aunt!” Mr. Austen said appalled at his daughters behavior.

Tim attempted to keep in his chuckle, but instead found himself choking on his wine. Johnny immediately began to pat Tim on the back, helping him catch his breath.

“So. Mr. Depp, I hear you’re quite the popular actor.” Inquired Katrina.

He didn’t even look Katrina in the eyes as silence filled the room and he didn’t answer.

“Do you find a liking to my daughter Mr. Depp?” Katrina asked rather forwardly.

This time Johnny almost choked on his wine. “excuse me?”

“My daughter Emily, she’s not so much younger than you…” Katrina smiled at him.

Johnny’s wide eyes moved on to Emily, as did everyone else. Finally noticing that she was in fact blushing at Johnny.

Jane rolled her eyes at this nonsense, but for some reason- and she couldn’t figure out why, Katrina’s comment kept bothering her….

The next morning Jane had woken up earlier than anyone, even if she had only received 2 hours of sleep. Her book was filled with inspiration she had never felt before… although she didn’t know why…

“Good morning Mary.” Jane said cheerfully walking into the kitchen, greeting the cook.

“Morning Miss Austen, thought you might want to take a look at this. I’ve seen how much you and everyone else seems to despise Mr. Depp, and now you have reason and proof.” Mary said, Jane looked at her curiously.

Picking up the newspaper to the entertainment section, Jane’s eyes bulged as she read the big bold headline:
“Johnny Depp leaves fiancée Kate Moss after finding out she’s pregnant with his child.”

Continuing on, she simply couldn’t stop at reading the article.

‘controversial actor Johnny Depp is said to have left his long time fiancée Model Kate Moss after finding out that she was pregnant with his child. Sources say that Johnny never intended on having a child. Saying that he felt it would ‘only get in the way’ of his career. No word on whether Moss will take Depp to court for child support. But there is no question of Depp’s intentions on this matter.

The abandonment was set to have been kept in secret and a month ago, since then Johnny has faded from the spotlight completely disappearing from the pubic- no doubt in order to hide his scum face which according to many ‘resembles the filth of a face similar to the father that left him.’ No word yet from the ex couple’s publicist, and no word from Moss either. If there’s one thing left to say to Depp it’s this, there have been scandals galore in this business, but none have been quite as grotesque as yours.’

Chapter 4

Since Jane had read the article, she had immediately disposed of it and told Mary not to say a word to anyone about it. Her family remained in their ignorance and Johnny in his- still having no idea that Jane knew the cruel acts he had done upon his poor ex fiancée and his unborn child.

So there she sat at the piano, her fingers lightly playing across the keys as her family, Johnny, Tim, and her interesting aunt Katrina and daughter Emily sat in the same room, sipping on tea, or hot chocolate, or coffee for some as they all made light conversation.

It was then a surprise to her when she felt the presence of someone standing next to her, she didn’t need to turn to him- his light scent of Tobacco, mint, and cologne let her know exactly who it was. Jane hated to admit it to herself, but she had actually grown to enjoy his scent over the past month.

But for the past week Jane had avoided Johnny at every moment. Made the smallest of conversations with him and attempted to be as physically far from him as possible. She could feel him staring at her at almost all times, but refused to meet his gaze. It drove Jane insane as to how a man could be so horrendous.

“You play quite well.” Johnny said, breaking the silence between them.

Jane’s fingers paused on the keys for a moment to think of what to say before she continued playing.

“Are you trying to intimidate me Johnny? By standing in front of me like that.” Jane replied.

Before Johnny could answer James walked next to Johnny and stared dumbly down at Jane’s playing fingers.

“You’re really good. You should do parties!” James exclaimed. It took every ounce in Jane’s self control to not roll her eyes at the obvious ridiculousness of his comment.

“I don’t think I would James, especially not for people who avoid dancing at all costs.” Jane said, Johnny obviously understood she was talking about him as he stood there uncomfortably.

“look James, Mary brought the pudding out.” Johnny pointed out, without another moment to spare James quickly headed towards to the area of tapioca.

A moment passed between Johnny and Jane where all they could hear was her fingers playing the piano. Jane hadn’t looked at him once, where as he simply couldn’t take his eyes off of her.

“I-I’m not very good with people. Especially at this point in my life…” Johnny began rather hesitantly. “it’s hard for me to trust anybody right now, all I feel I have is Tim, my mom and my older brother who’s off somewhere in the Bahamas. It’s not easy for me to just go up to someone and start a conversation. I’ve never been the type of person to be extremely comfortable in large groups of people who I don’t know, especially when they’re as intimidating as you and your family are.”

“Intimidating?” Jane asked, not stopping her playing or looking at him. Yet it still amazed her how soft his voice could be.

“well, yes. I mean I go to parties in Hollywood only when forced- but nothing compared to being around royalty who sits around and drinks tea all day.”

“So, you find tea intimidating?” She asked jokingly.

“Nothing more frightening.” He said, she could hear the light smile in his voice.

“So that’s why you don’t speak about 99.9% of the time.”

“And other reasons.” He said.

This time, Jane stopped her playing and looked up at his face where was placed perhaps the most heartbreaking look she had seen. But she was immediately reminded of what he had done and run away from.

“Perhaps Depp… you should practice to speak in front of others. I became good at the piano by practice, not by being afraid if I hit the wrong note. If you’ll excuse me.” Jane said standing up and leaving the living room to walk upstairs to her room.

The next day Jane still hadn’t left her room, it was after noon and she was sitting at her desk like a mad woman writing away like she had done all night long. She continued to scratch on her paper as if dear life had depended on it…

‘I certainly have not the talent which some people possess,’ said Darcy, ‘of conversing easily with those I have never seen before…’

Even though she was on a roll and she thought nothing could break her streak- it was when Johnny nearly almost fell as he opened her door as if he was in a hurry broke her concentration.

Jane stood up immediately and looked at him with a look of shock plastered on her face.

A moment of silence passed between them as he just stared at her wide eyed.

“is there something I can help you with?” Jane asked.

“Uhm… I was wondering if you wanted to go on a walk.” Johnny said in an unusually high pitched voice before clearing his throat.

“uh… sure.” Jane said awkwardly.

As they walked through the park in a slightly awkward silence, Jane began to notice how fidgety Johnny was.

“So…” Johnny began clearing his throat. “Uh.. Are you going to college anywhere?”

“Not really, I decided to skip it. Didn’t make my family too happy.”

Johnny nodded his head nervously, once again silence fell between them and Johnny could no longer take it

Stopping in his tracks, catching the attention of Jane who turned to stare at him surprised when she found a most vulnerable look on his face.

“Jane-…” He began in an aired voice from being so nervous. “I don’t think I can take it anymore…”

“Take what?” Jane asked smugly, believing that he was going to cry and confess his disgusting acts that he had ran away from- again, she was wrong.

“…I think you’ve noticed,” Johnny cleared his throat. “that I’ve been watching you rather closely, and this may come as a shock to you since we’ve only known each other for a month but- when I’m around you and I hear you speak it’s like nothing else exists.”

Jane furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. “I-I’m sorry, what is it you’re trying to say-”

“I like you Jane. A lot. And more than just being friends.”

This most definitely caught Jane off guard.

“And I think that if you like me too- then I might actually find the courage to tell you that I think I love you- but I would never actually say that to your face.” He said hoping to put a smile on her face trying to place humor in a contradiction.

“I-I… I don’t know what to say.” Jane said, completely bewildered. “I had no idea.”

She finally looked up at him with confidence in her face, as Johnny stared a her completely confused.

“ That’s you’re answer? Are you-… are you rejecting me?” Johnny asked with a harsh tone.

“How could you even confess something like that to me? I despise you!” Exclaimed Jane.

“Oh really! And how did you come to this random conclusion!? What the hell have I done to you!?” Johnny shouted, this was the first time Jane had ever seen Johnny angry- and it was not pretty. But nevertheless the fire raged within her and she stood her ground.

“You haven’t done anything to me except make me feel like the most out of place person in the world! You roll your eyes at the mention of even a thought of someone wanting to marry me- I saw it when Tim was talking-”

“I didn’t mean that fo-!”

“That doesn’t matter anymore you’re a cruel man as it is!” She shouted, not wanting to hear his excuses.

“And where did this come from?” Johnny asked in a deep toned voice, obviously not happy but wanting to hear what she had next to say.

“The name Kate Moss ring a bell?” Jane said smugly as she watched his face chance from shocked to angry.

“And what do you know about Kate?” He asked, his anger boiling so far into him that it was past yelling and shouting.

“Only that you engaged her, impregnated her, then left her to come and run away here with your friend that is much too good for you, and hide behind your scowls, pride, and movie star status to attempt and escape the crowds of people who know what a horrible man you are.” Jane said each word dripping with distain as she walked up to him, her face only an inch from his.

Johnny was rendered speechless as he looked at her with shocked eyed and his mouth slightly agape.

“So…” Johnny began, still a hint of rage in his voice. “this is what you see me as. What you assume I am. Thank you for explaining it to me- because it answers to me why you think I’m such a pri.ck. You read these tabloids, you see what you want to see and hear what you want to hear so it can support your pre judgment of me. …Maybe if you hadn’t been so proud in everything you might have overlooked these f*cking ridiculous things!”

It was Johnny’s last sentence that had sent Jane over the edge into her ruthless rampage.

“You don’t care about anyone else but yourself Johnny! You’re a selfish bastard- That much I know! You don’t care about others feelings or what happens to them as long as your precious ego isn’t tarnished! You’re just like they write in the tabloids- just like your father!! Leaving his family behind to rot- it obviously didn’t do you good and you just keep carrying on the tradition! From the moment I saw you I knew your arrogance and selfish feelings towards everyone were not just assumptions- but in fact who you really are! …and to answer you question before- NO I DO NOT return your bloody feelings- you are the LAST man I would ever want to spend another breath with!!”

Finally Jane finished, breathing heavily as she had not taken a moment to breath during her speech.

The look of rage on Johnny’s face had fully disappeared, and was replaced with something that was completely unknown to Jane- something she had never seen it before.

“I’m sorry for taking up so much of your time. I promise to be out of your life within the week.” Johnny said softly looking at Jane with half lidded eyes before walking away from her towards the house, with his hands in his pockets and his head held low.

chapter 5

The next day Jane watched Johnny and Tim pack their bags into a limo. It was obvious that Johnny had told Tim what happened, the rest of the family was obviously confused as to why they were both leaving a month early.

Tim had snuck into her room last night and told her that they were leaving the next morning.

“So… I’m guessing that Johnny told you what happened” Jane said sitting at her desk staring down at her piles of papers.

“Yeah. But, I just came up here to say goodbye darling.” Tim said talking towards her. As she got up from her desk she turned and gave Tim a hug.

“How could you even be friends with Johnny let alone consider him your brother?” Jane asked as she pulled away.

“Johnny… is in fact the exact opposite of what you think he is.” Tim said softly with a light smile on his face. “But he’s not who I’m here to talk about, I’m just up here to say goodbye… and if you’re ever in Paris- don’t be a stranger. Stop by my place and we’ll write a movie one day.”

Jane laughed at his last comment, “And it’ll be the most amazing, most gruesome, creepy movie yet.” Jane added.

“We’ll bring in guts by the buckets.” Tim said laughing.

“I’ll see you around Jane.” Tim said, giving her a kiss on the cheek before waking out of her room.

She didn’t believe what Tim had said, and there she stood watching the servants help the last of the luggage into the car.

She was 2/3 done with the story, and still had no way to end it. Jane stood in a haze and looked down at her pile of papers at least 4 inches tall of her revised draft of the first 2/3’s, all ready to go to the publisher that she no longer had.

“Hello? Carl?” Jane said into the phone to her publisher that morning.

“Hey, Jane.” Carl replied unenthusiastically.

“What’s wrong? Well I hope it’s not something too bad because I have wonderful news, I’m about 2/3rds done with a new novel! And honestly Carl- It’s my best one so far. And once I find out it’s ending it’ll b-”

“Jane I can’t publish anymore of your writing.” Carl said, obviously not happy.

“Wha… what do you mean.” Jane said, her blood pumping through her body faster, so fast she swore she could feel it.

“Jane, I’m sorry. But your parents have called every publisher in the country and threatened to have any publishing house put out of business if they’re to publish the next Jane Austen book. I’m sorry Jane, but I have no choice.”

Jane had seen it coming for a while now, ever since Sense and Sensibility was published and became extremely popular. She was just hoping her family might put it off for a while longer.

“Can I come in?” a deep voice asked from her door. Breaking from her memory of that morning Jane turned to the door to see none other than Johnny himself

“Sure.” Jane said sighing, keeping her distance from him.

“Here.” Johnny said, placing an envelope on her desk. “I want you to read this. Please.”

Silence filled the room, Jane had given him no reply.

“I uh… heard what your parents did, with the publishing company’s… I’m sorry.” Johnny said, again, Jane gave him no reply.

“Goodbye then.” He said hesitantly, playing with the skull ring on his finger before leaning forwards contemplating what to do next.

Johnny slowly raised his hand and ran the back of his fingers against her cheek, Jane closed her eyes momentarily but quickly enough forced them open looking away from him.

“I’m gunna miss you.” Johnny whispered before turning around slowly and walking out her bedroom door never to see her again.

It was 2 in the morning when Jane could no longer take it, she had to read his bloody letter.

Dear Jane,

I’m sorry that your impression of me was so disgusting, I know sometimes I can be a jerk but I don’t know how to help it. I suppose the biggest issue you have with me is Kate. Well, let me start from the beginning. Kate and I met a year ago at a party, and quickly we became really good friend- eventually evolving into more than friends. It was amazing for the first couple of months, we were crazy in love. But eventually, it wore down for too many big reasons.

Kate wouldn’t stop going out to party’s and drugging her self up, drinking beer like a frat guy. Of course I would go with her, and get so high that my entire world went in super slow motion. We both weren’t in good places, both depressed, both on drugs and beer- but we were still in love.

A couple of months into our relationship, about 3/4ths in, I asked her about children because I’ve wanted one more than anything else, ever. She, didn’t react well. Kate told me that having a kid was the last thing she wanted and/or needed. I was obviously heart broken at this- I want to be a dad and hold my child in my arms. She didn’t understand that.

A couple more months went by and suddenly Kate started acting weird around me. She would cook me food, insist on helping me with anything- things she had never done for me but I had always done for her. I remember being so curious as to why she was being so kind all of a sudden and I thought I had it all figured out when she told me she was pregnant.

I was ecstatic for the first 5 minutes after she told me, I don’t think I’d ever felt so happy in my life. It was when she told me the child wasn’t mine that I wasn’t in my dream world anymore. And to top it all off, the father of the child was one of my best friends, his name is Maz. They had been sleeping together behind my back for the past 4 months.

So I left. And no everybody has it wrong. I left because Maz wanted to raise his baby with Kate, and I couldn’t look at Kate anymore without feeling nauseous. So now I’m alone, so she can go and start her new life with the family that I had always wanted and begged her for.

I hope this gives you more clarification as to the way I acted around you and your family. I didn’t mean to be so morose, but it was impossible to help.

I love you Jane, after meeting you I haven’t thought about Kate once. I want you to know that I always will be thinking of you. From the moment I saw you I only imagined myself with you in my arms as we would grow old together.

Best of luck in life,
Forever yours,
J.D.

chapter 6

Almost a week later, and not much to Jane’s surprise- she had found herself in an arranged marriage to a man named William Collins. He was short, stumpy, and awkward. Jenna had been engaged to him for two days so far, and has only known him for one.

As she sat at her desk she recalled the conversation she’d had with her mother when she told her that she was engaged- whether she liked it or not.

“Jane you have a responsibility! A duty in this family to carry on our blood with other good blood! We’re not other people my darling, this is our purpose in life.”

“but I don’t love him! And I don’t want to marry him!”

“You will grow up and force yourself to like him, and maybe one day darling you’ll love him!

If it had been any other circumstance, Jane would have denied, refused and argued. But now she felt no need. No purpose.

She still had no ending for her book that could no longer be published. She had continued it, added a new character- edited some chapters- but it still had no ending. It sat on her desk, day in and day out it’s only purpose to build up layers of dust.

“My darling may I come in?” an annoying nasal voice sounded from her door.

“Yes.” She sighed, knowing it was William- or Gimli as she liked to call him without his knowledge.

“My darling there is a man here who claims to say that he is on a secret mission to see you, and he is not allowed to tell anybody but you why. Isn’t that funny?” The dwarf-like man said snorting and chuckling behind her.

“Let him in William.”

“But my dar-”

“I said let him in. I want to see him.”

Jane couldn’t stand to hear him call her ‘my darling’, it got on her nerves more than anything else.

“Hello?” A deep voice said from her door. Turning around she saw it was a middle aged man with balding hair and a grey suit on as he stood next to the ever shrinking William.

“William, Leave us.” She said to her fiancé who only nodded and shut the door behind him.

“Can I help you with something?”

“Are you Jane Austen? The writer of Emma and Sense and Sensibility ?”

“Yes, why do you want to know?”

“I was sent by a good friend of mine. He sent me out here to take a look at your new work.” The man said pleasantly.

“I-… I’m sorry, I’m not understanding you very well.” Jane said obviously confused.

“I’m a publisher miss Austen, and I’d like to take a look at your latest work” The man said smiling at her.

Jane furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, who could possibly send her a publisher not caring the consequences?

“Who sent you?” She asked.

“I have strict orders not to say, only to publish what you have written.”

Jane smiled as she felt a warm feeling inside her- she knew who had sent this man.

“thank you but I don’t even have an ending yet.”

“I’ll tell you what, once you have an ending- you call me immediately and we’ll start editing.” The man said handing her his card before giving her one last smile, shutting the door behind him, leaving Jenna in a slight state of shock. This certainly was a turn of events.

That night, Jane got no sleep. She felt the guilt as a disgusting leech inside of her. She had yelled at Johnny and every night replayed her own cruel words to herself as she would stare at the letter he had given her.

Taking out the magazine from beneath her mattress she looked at his picture. In it he was sitting in a chair with his leg propped up over the arm rest, hand on his knee with his other hand holding a glass of wine.

He had been so misunderstood, and her so mislead.

It was then as she looked at his face in the picture, she realized how much she exactly missed him.

She had only known him for 2 months, and barely had any real conversations with him- yet she missed him.

Jane had tried her best to stay away from the celebrity news but her curiosity about Johnny was too much. Her heart broke every time there was another story about him and how he’d abandoned his unborn child. The entire world hated him, was mocking him and humiliating him- something she had bought into. Something she had helped and encouraged more instead of listening to him and getting to know him. Who he really was.

Not only that but she couldn’t help but stare at how perfect his face was. His skin, his cheekbones, his eyes, his hair- those lips. She should’ve let him have her when she had the chance.

Now it was too late to know nothing more than his name, what he smelled like, what his voice sounded like, and what had really happened. She regretted it almost everyday since he had left.

Jane was stuck with the Keebler Elf while Johnny was stuck with the bastards of the media- now looking back on it they could get each other through their hard times. Be friends. More than friends even.

She laughed at herself, knowing it was too late for that. He was gone. She was engaged to a Pillsbury dough boy wannabe.

“Jane?” A voice said from the door.

Surprisingly the voice wasn’t carried in a soprano tone- but rather in a normal male one, very much contrary to her fiancé.

Turning around she found herself staring at the man she was just admiring a picture of.

chapter 7

Jane sat in her chair, staring at Johnny wide-eyed with her jaw to the floor not even remembering that she was holding a magazine with the bold letters “How Far can the Scum Go?” and had his picture right above the title.

Johnny, on the other hand did notice her holding it. He slowly walked up to her and didn’t break eye contact as he took the magazine out of her hand and looked at it.

“did you help write this?” He asked with a smirk on his face as he turned the cover for her to see. Just as Jane was attempting to get some words out, her fiancé with his perfect timing decided to walk in just then.

“Darling do- great Cesar’s ghost- you’re Johnny Depp!” William squealed.

Johnny smiled uncomfortably holding out his hand, “yeah, that would be me.”

With not a moment to spare, William’s clammy palm grasped Johnny’s as he shook it completely star struck.

“By George! What are you doing here? Eh- do you know my fiancé?” William asked, Jane winced as Johnny turned to look at her slowly with wide eyes as he was wiping William’s sweat off his palm onto his jeans.

“Yes, I was staying here for two months not too long ago.” Johnny replied, his voice still calm.

“Ah, and did you and Jane become good friends?” William asked in delight.

Both Jane and Johnny stayed silent.

“Well, Johnny, I must say it is a delight to meet you. It’s already past dinner time, Will you be staying the night?” William asked.

“Um, no. I’m just going to catch up for a bit here with Jane and then be on my way to film my next movie.”

“Ah- the Roman Polanski film! I heard about that! I’m very fond of Paris you see, I consider myself a very classy man- that city fits me perfectly.”

“I’m sure.” Johnny replied, holding back his smile.

“right well, I’ll leave you two friends to catch up. Goodnight darling.” William said naively. Walking up to Jane and giving her a wet kiss on her lips before walking out of her bedroom, closing the door behind him.

They stayed in silence, Jane could feel her heart beat in her chest and swore it was echoing in the room.

“I wouldn’t have come if I’d known-” Johnny began softly looking down.

“He’s nothing.” Jane said cutting him off.

“He’s your fiancé for God’s sake-”

“He’s arranged, Johnny. It was arranged 3 days ago, this is only my 2nd day knowing him.”

Johnny looked at her with shock evident in his face. “do people still do that?”

“in royalty, yes. It’s custom to do it to ensure that the bloodline is carried on by someone with an equal ‘worthy bloodline’.” Jane said in disgust.

“…so are you really gonna marry this guy?”

“I have no choice.” She whispered. “…I’m sorry.”

Johnny cleared his throat and rolled up the magazine in his hand. “There’s no need, there was nothing happening between us anyways.”

He threw the magazine on the desk in front of Jane before grabbing his coat heading for the door.

“Wait!” She exclaimed, just as his hand was on the doorknob making him turn towards her, his jaw-length hair in his face.

“Don’t leave… please. Just, just stay.”

“For what?”

“For me… I want to apologize.” She said standing up and walking in front of him, she could smell his familiar scent which she had grown to love. “I was a moron, I Jumped to some terrible conclusions about you and now I know that you’re none of those things. If anything it should be me who needs to get out of your life- you’ve done so much already, you have no idea. And that publisher your sent to me today, that’s the nicest thing anybody’s done for me.”

Johnny’s deep dark eyes stared at her, making her feel as if he was seeing into her very soul, reading her deepest darkest secrets.

“I don’t need you out of my life, I need you in it.” He said dropping his coat on the floor. “You have to know Jane, I can’t stop thinking about you. I haven’t been able to. … but you’re engaged now, and your family’s depending on you.”

Lifting up her fingertips to trace his cheek as she stared deep into his eyes. “but I want to be with you.” She said softly.

That was all Johnny needed before leaning his head down and capturing her lips with his. Jane couldn’t believe how soft his lips felt, they were like two soft pillows as they sucked on her lips tenderly. Quickly reaching in front of her she locked her door, making her wants clear to Johnny.

Chapter 8

Johnny slowly allowed his tongue to enter Jane’s mouth, rubbing it against hers softly, making her moan. Jane had been kissed tons before, but this was the first time she had actually gone weak in the knees.

Holding on to her waist, Johnny threw the pin out of her hair, her brown locks cascading down her shoulders. Johnny pulled away from the kiss long enough to see Jane open her eyes and look at him with a look of pure passion. Quickly he held her under her bum as she wrapped her arms around his neck kissing his lips softly. Johnny laid her on the bed as he hovered over her, continuously kissing her with tenderness and love.

Jane lifted Johnny’s shirt over his head, breaking the kiss for a moment. She began to run her hands over his warm smooth skin, she could feel him shiver beneath her fingertips. Johnny unbuttoned her blouse and threw it on the ground, breaking the kiss he looked down at her in her red bra.

Jane’s face was flushed, her lips red and puffy from his lips, her eyes were half lidded and her hair was sprawled out all over her pillow. He had never seen such a beautiful being in his life. Ever.

She bit her bottom lip as he reached up to the clasp at the front of her bra between her breasts, looking her straight in the eyes- Johnny undid it, throwing her bra off to the side.

“oh my god…” He whispered under his breath as he stared at her breasts, they were perfect. Leaning his head down, he took the nub of the right one in his mouth as his right hand rubbed the left one.

It seemed that everything was soft on this girl, her hair, her skin, her lips- her breasts. He could feel his jeans grow unbelievably and painfully tight as he thought of what other part of her could be so soft.

Jane tangled her fingers in his hair as she arched her back, he took the opportunity and let his hand run down the spine of her back lightly making her shiver. Kissing his way down her stomach he stopped at where her thin cotton shorts were.

Johnny looked up at Jane, the look in her eyes gave him the ok. As he slid the shorts off her legs, he could no longer hold back a growl as he saw she had no panties on. It was the first time he’d actually felt pain between his legs because of how tight his pants had become. In less than a split second, he had both his pants and his boxers off him.

Slowly kissing up her inner thigh he could feel the heat on his face from her most intimate part. Johnny spread her legs as far as possible so they were hanging off each side of the bed before taking his left arm to hold her hips down.

Taking his right hand he spread the lips of her warmness, his eyes almost rolled in the back of his head as he saw how wet she was. Reaching out his first finger he touched her cl*t lightly, rubbing circles around it. Jane gasped and squirmed a bit but found herself held down at the waist.

Johnny couldn’t believe how soft she was, she felt like warm silk beneath his fingers. Soon enough his pressure as well as his pace increased as he continued to rub her. He could hear her breathing quicken and could feel her hips move under his arm. But before she could feel her release, he pulled his hand away kissing back up her body till he reached her lips.

“Why did you stop?”

“I wanna be inside you for that.” He whispered. Just as his mouth came into contact with hers he pushed his large member inside her tight opening. Jane gasped into his open mouth as they continued to kiss, his tongue matching the movements of what he was doing to her down below.

Finally breaking the kiss as he continued his steady pace, Johnny looked down at Jane, wrapping his arms around her.

“Put your legs around me.” He said huskily, she obeyed but kept her eyes closed as he quickened his pace.

The sheets beneath them were being stretched and pulled in every angle as Johnny pounded into Jane, if the bed hadn’t been so heavy the headboard would’ve broken against the wall.

Jane could feel herself tighten around him, she couldn’t believe how extraordinary he felt inside her, even if was almost painful how big he was. She knew they were both close, and so did he.

“Open your eyes. Look at me.” Johnny demanded breathlessly, he wanted them to see each other at their most erotic moment.

Jane opened her eyes and looked into a pair of deep brown pools that gave her such an intense look she could feel every one of his emotions in her soul and, knew that he could feel hers too.

As their ecstasy was building up Jane wrapped both of her arms around his chest, clawing her nails on his back. Johnny moaned as he could feel her nails run deep in his back, it was painful and he knew it would leave some scars- but he didn’t care. He loved the fact that she was marking her territory.

At that point Johnny leaned down and put his open mouth on her shoulder sinking his teeth into it. Jane yelled from pain and pleasure, knowing it would scar- he too was marking his territory .

“I’m so close…” She whispered looking up at him.

“Come with me baby…” He whispered just as the both of them were sent over the edge, never breaking eye contact as they endured the highest climax.

Immediately Johnny’s body collapsed on top of Jane’s as they both heaved for breath, they could feel their sweat on each others warm skin. Johnny buried his face in her breast as she ran her fingers through his hair, exhaustion taking a hold of them both.

“I’ve never in my life… experienced something like that Jane.” Johnny said looking up at her resting his chin on her nipple once they both caught their breath.

“Neither have I.” She replied softly smiling at him, running her finger tips over his soft cheek.

Johnny took her hand and moved his way up her so they were eventually facing each other on their sides. He lifted each of her fingers inside his mouth one by one, watching as her eyes closed, breathing slowly out of her mouth.

When he finished she looked at him and saw nothing but love, loyalty and care in his eyes.

“Take me away with you.” She whispered.

“Jane… I’m going to Paris tomorrow morning-” He said softly.

“So, take me with you.”

“Baby, you have a book to finish and publish- writing is your dream-”

“It’s ok, I don’t mind giving it up!” Jane pleaded, but Johnny shook his head.

“No… I won’t let you.” He whispered. “Jane, when I came here today I wasn’t thinking about anything except that I needed to get you for myself in the quickest way no questions asked and whisk you away with me forever. But it’s so much more complicated than that…”

“How?” She asked softly, tears welled up in her eyes.

“You have work here Jane, you have to finish this story, it’ll take at least 6 months to edit, 6 months to get it all printed, and then once it’s released- because I know how amazing it’s going to be- you’re going to have to watch out for yourself and make sure that no one knows who you are until the hype dies down- which in itself will take about a year. …I have to go to Paris to film my movie- that’s going to take 7 months. And then I have to promote it which takes a while too.”

“So… you don’t want to be with me?” She said as tears ran down her face, Johnny looked at her with a most painful look. Jane had never been so vulnerable, and surely had never shown anyone it. She had always had such a hard exterior, and now Johnny was seeing the girl that he always knew was underneath.

“Don’t you ever say that. Ever.” He said firmly, rubbing his hands over her face, wiping her tears. “I wanna be with you more than anything else in this world. I love you Jane. But right now- you have your dream to go after, and I’m already bound by a contract to mine- we have no choice-”

“yes we do! I can wait to finish the book and go with you to Paris, then whenever there’s time I can get it published-”

“No Jane. No. You get it published the moment you finish it. Who knows what could happen tomorrow. Every word you write is a piece of you, and I don’t want to be the cause for a part of you dying.” He said tenderly, doing his best to be the strong one.

Jane knew he was right, no matter how much she tried to deny it or make up excuses- he was right. They wrapped their arms around each other tightly, wanting to feel as much skin as possible.

Johnny laid on his back with his arms wrapped around Jane who laid her head on his chest- right over his heart.

“Johnny…”

“Hmm?”

“my wedding is tomorrow.”

“…I know.”

“…do I marry him?”

Johnny let out a heavy breath of air, he felt himself begin to tremble.

“You do what you feel Jane. Nothing else.” He said firmly yet with his voice slightly shaky.

“…I love you.” she whispered softly.

Johnny could feel his throat tighten, this time it was him holding back his tears. All he could do was squeeze her to him tighter, never wanting to forget the feel of her skin against his, the taste of her body, the scent of her hair, or the look in her eyes that made him go weak in the knees.

“So… tell me what your story’s about.” He said after a couple of minutes of silence wanting their time to be happy. He could feel her giggling. “What?” He questioned looking down at her as she looked back up at him.

“You sure you wanna know?” She questioned, raising an eyebrow.

“Yeeesss.” He answered wondering if it maybe had to do something with him.

“well, it’s about these 5 daughter of a farmer man and his wife in 17th century England, they live out in the country. And their mother is completely obsessed with having their daughters married off… especially to rich men of good blood. Anyways there’s this character named Mr. Darcy-”

“Darcy huh?” Johnny teased smiling at her, she giggled.

“Yes… Mr. Darcy. And he is without a doubt the most prideful, stuck up, rude man in the entire world-”

“I wonder who you could’ve based this man off of- is he handsome?” Johnny chuckled, he knew she was basing this character off of what she thought of him when she first met him. It all made sense to him now why she was scratching away like a madwoman in her notebook whenever he was around.

“Naturally.” She said winking at him. “anyways, A short dwarf like man named Collins takes a liking to Elizabeth, as well as an awful man named Wickam- but she doesn’t know he’s awful so she takes a liking to him as well. And her sister, Jane, falls in love with Darcy’s best friend Bingley. Long story short Darcy falls in love with Elizabeth- the main character- and proposes. She yells at him and gives him a piece of her mind… the next morning she gets a letter from him explaining everything…”

“And the end?” Johnny asked softly, running his fingers through her hair. He could make the connections so quickly, Bingley was Tim, He was obviously Darcy, Collins was obviously her new fiancé, Wickam represented the media, and she was Elizabeth.

“Well… originally before Wickam became this awful person- I had the end thought out that Elizabeth would end up with him. But now with a new light on Darcy…”

“Promise me they’ll end up together. Promise me that no matter what they’ll spend forever together. Even if they‘re apart for sometime and things get in their way- that fate will bring them back together. …even if they are worlds away from each other- doing things that they have to do that force them apart. Eventually they will be together spending every night in each others arms- promise me.” Johnny said seriously as he looked at her with his piercing eyes, making her heart melt.

She knew how the book would end now, just as he said and just how they wanted.

“Promise.” He said one more time in a desperate tone, he didn’t want to believe anything else- and neither did she.

“I promise.” Jane whispered.

Disclaimer: I DO NOT OWN JOHNNY DEPP... sadly.

Chapter 1

It had been 17 years since Jenna had told Johnny she was pregnant, and surprisingly (to the both of them) the world still hadn’t become tired of them. In movies- and as famous entities. But what came as even more of a surprise- the media hadn’t been able to print one picture of any of their children.

Johnny was officially 42 and damn happy he had made it that far. Jenna, on the other hand- was 41 and pregnant- again, with their 5th- and according to Jenna-last child.

They were sitting at the Oscars after-party, Jenna had won her second Oscar that night. Johnny had won his second Oscar two years ago- that had been a nightmare for him. But right now, Jenna felt like the least luckiest girl in the world.

“ooohhh why won’t she just bloody pop out of me already!” Jenna exclaimed, whispering loudly in Johnny’s ear. It was simple to say she was exhausted from being pregnant, any day she was due.

Johnny had insisted that they skip the Oscars, the risk being too great, but George- Jenna’s agent, simply wouldn’t have it. So Johnny made sure to have ambulances waiting by at every back entrance- just in case Jenna decided to force the baby out.

“Just be patient, it’ll happen.” Johnny reassured her before taking a sip of his wine.

“No! I’m so tired of being patient! -Johnny, the doctor said that if I get horny then it shortens the wait. Come on- say something sexy.”

Jenna’s hormones, Johnny had noticed- were completely haywire during her pregnancies.
There was a period of time for 4 years straight where Jenna had a baby every year right after her first one.

Jack was the first born, he was now 17 and certainly a mystery to his parents. He was a kind, soft spoken boy- something he took after his father. But his long days and nights locked in his room worried everyone, having a child full of secrets was not an easy thing to live with.

But the hardest one Johnny and Jenna found to tame was 16 year old Danny. In short- he was the bad boy with no manners, and nothing kind to say. It was almost as if Johnny had been split in two between Jack and Danny- one taking the light side and the other taking after the dark. Needless to say Danny certainly had a reputation for multiple girlfriends, late nights out partying without his parents permission, and what frightened Johnny (especially) most- was the drugs.

Thankfully, there were at least 3 out of the four children who turned out with the better traits. At only 15 years old, Lily wanted nothing more than to be an actress on the big screen. Of course when she told Johnny that he pushed her to “become a nun god damnit!” (She had most definitely taken almost completely after her mother) Finally an agreement was reached that 18 would be the age for her to choose her career. And a bit of a geek at heart- Lily officially had her father stuck to her. She was his little girl.

Lastly there was the small tragedy of 14 year old Tim, born deaf. In the beginning, the struggle was awful. But, soon enough the entire family had learned sign language and Tim had learn how to read lips faster than he read words. Being the writer and artist of the family, he didn’t need to be able to achieve what he wanted, his ambitions never let him down.

And there Jenna sat, feeling like a whale with their 5th child- their next daughter.

“Jen, I’m not going to say something sexy.” Johnny replied to his girl. 17 years together and she still insisted on this every time she had gotten pregnant and they would go out.

“Johnnnyyy come on!” She exclaimed.

Johnny refused to reply, Jenna Sighed in defeat.

“Fine, I wanna go home now though and take the first plane back to France.” She said stubbornly.

“Now that’s something I agree to.” Johnny replied, helping her stand up from her chair.

As they walked towards the back exit they ran into Joan Rivers, who went on to say how beautiful Jenna looked. And Jenna promptly called her an old hag and a liar once her back was turned.

When they arrived in France, they stepped inside their two story house at around midnight, the children obviously asleep. Jenna made her way upstairs wanting to get into bed as soon as she possibly could.

Johnny walked over to the couch and shook awake his old friend. “Hey Tim man wake up.”

Tim Burton snorted himself out of his sleep as he looked tiredly up at Johnny.

“How was it? Did Jenna Win?” He asked standing up and stretching before grabbing his coat.

“Yep- I think it took every muscle in her body not to strangle the presenter when they said her name. Her hormones are really twisting her around at this point, she’s never been so wired and strange.” Johnny said as they walked to the front door.

“Oh man the more and more pregnancies the more wired the woman get during them. Helena got her tubes tied after she had Chaucer so no more babies for me- 4’s my limit man- I don’t know how you’re going to keep track of five.” Tim said. He and Helena lived next door to Johnny and Jenna and the couples always were around to help each other out.

“I don’t know either Tim, I mean- we haven’t had sex since we found out she was pregnant 9 months ago… I’m dying over here. I don’t even think we’ve had a real kiss in 9 months. And not only that but once the baby’s born we’ll have 5 kids to run after- including a new-born, I swear I’m starting to piss blood.” Johnny exclaimed.

“Well you know that’s how Helena is too- I don’t know what it was that she didn’t find appealing in sex anymore. Let me tell you something though, women don’t find being pregnant sexy. Especially in the last couple of months. And once the baby’s born they won’t want to have sex either, you’re just going to have to be patient.”

“Easier said than done. We don’t get any time for ourselves anymore. I suppose it‘s a good thing Jenna‘s getting her tubes tied.” Johnny sighed.

“I know how you feel about kids Johnny, but 5 is enough. Especially with the last one having a 15 year age difference from your 4th one.”

“Yeah, but at least Lily will have another girl in the house. Listen I’ll see you tomorrow maybe I think I’m gunna head off to bed.”

Johnny and Tim said their last good bye’s before Johnny headed up the stairs feeling more exhausted than ever. Suddenly just as he reached the top of the stairs he heard a thump come from Danny’s room.

Slowly looking through the crack of the door, Johnny looked as he watched his 16 year old crawl himself through his window into the bathroom vomiting in the toilet. Gripping the door handle tight Johnny held in his anger, it had been this past year when Danny had turned out like this.

There were some serious issues going on with that boy, and it drove Jenna and Johnny insane and up to their wits with him. But Johnny knew that now was not the time or the place to attempt in knocking some sense into his once kind son.

Creeping into his room and shutting the door behind him, Johnny saw Jenna sprawled out on the bed lying uncomfortably on her back. Johnny took off his clothes leaving him in nothing but his boxers as he laid on the bed next to his very much pregnant girl.

“…you’re still beautiful.” Johnny whispered looking down at her, running his hand over her enormous stomach.

Careful to lay his head on the top of Jenna’s breast, Johnny fell asleep almost immediately.

Johnny wasn’t asleep for too long as he felt himself get caught up in his dream. Opening his eyes quickly he looked down to see his rather large member standing fully up.

‘f*ck’ he thought, this had been the 7th week in a row where he had woken up in the middle of the night to ‘take care of business’

He sat down at the edge of the bathtub wrapping his hand around his thick penis, closing his eyes rubbing himself back and forth as he imagined it was Jenna’s hand doing it to him- or even better- her mouth.

Johnny held back his moan as he though of her under him, biting her bottom lip weeping as he moved himself in and out of her. The feeling of her soft breasts under his toned tan chest, her legs fully wrapped around his lower back- and finally her nails digging into his back side cheeks begging him to go deeper.

Johnny felt himself erupt in his hand as he wheezed heavily for air. It wasn’t enough for him to feel satisfied- he hadn’t been satisfied in a long time.

Just as he was finishing cleaning up he heard a knock at the door, opening it slowly he saw his girl standing there scratching her stomach.

“Johnny can you get out please, I have to pee.” She said tiredly.

“Yeah, sure.” He said walking past her.

“Hem hem…” Jenna said, catching Johnny’s attention. “Don’t you think you’re forgetting something?”

Johnny almost began to smile, for this last pregnancy she hadn’t let Johnny kiss her for more than a split second. Just as he was about to walk back towards her and get what he had been aching to do for the past 9 months- she held up a towel making him stop.

“When you’re done washing your hands you hang the towels back up again” She said with a raised eyebrow, putting the towel back up before closing the door in his face.

Johnny hid his obvious disappointment well as he just painfully smiled at her before the door closed in his face and sprawled himself back on their bed, using every ounce of his will power not to scream at the top of his lungs from frustration.

For the past 17 years Johnny and Jenna were perhaps the most passionate couple ever. Making love at least 6 times a week (even during work times), always making time for romantic dinners. Never forgetting to leave work at work. Talking and laughing together about everything, having the outmost trust in one another.

But this last pregnancy certainly sprung them for a surprise. It was changing everything. Although the kids were handling it well (Except for Danny who rolled his eyes at the news), Jenna was exhausted after the first day. Johnny understood perfectly- she had already been through 4 pregnancies in a row- one right after the other, he understood how exhausted she was even if they were 15 years ago.

Her body (thankfully) Had returned to it’s normal state after all four pregnancies, of course there were a couple of stretch marks on her hips, but nothing too drastic.

But for the past 9 months Jenna had paid Johnny little to no attention. No kisses, no hugs, no nothing. She of course didn’t notice it, but Johnny was going mental on the inside.

chapter 2

“Hey Cameron…” Johnny said smiling, walking into his agent Tracey’s office. Cameron was his new personal assistant, his sister had the job for a while- but when she and her girlfriend decided to adopt- she hired someone else to take her place.

Cameron Smear was in her mid-30’s. Thin, tall, blonde and beautiful. A girl from New York, she always wanted to go after something big. Johnny, she felt, was just that for her.

Johnny took the seat next to her as they both waited for Tracey to arrive, Tracey had just flown from L.A. to reach Johnny since he refused to go back unless it was a matter of life and death.

“Hey Johnny, how have you been? Haven’t seen you for months…” She said smiling at him, her bright blue eyes sparkling in the sun.

“I know right? Not since my last movie wrapped up.” He replied.

“How’s the lady of the house?”

“Very much pregnant.” Johnny chuckled, Cameron raised her eyebrows in surprise.

“She hasn’t had the baby yet? But she was at least 3 months pregnant since the last time I saw you.” Cameron had been there for the first three months, and was the first and only outsider to notice Jenna’s neglect for Johnny the moment the pregnancy was discovered. Cameron felt a huge sense of bitterness towards Jenna- how could a woman possibly take a man like Johnny for granted? And that, pissed Cameron off the most.

“Yeah I know, believe me if anything to me and her it seems like she’s been pregnant for years.”

“so, things going slow in the Depp house-hold?”

“Yeah, I guess you could say that.” Johnny said, unable to hide the disappointment in his voice as he looked down.

Not a moment later did Cameron take Johnny’s hand in hers as she began to stroke it. “you know… I’m always here if you need someone. For anything.”

Johnny looked up immediately at her. He knew exactly what she was implying, but for the first time ever since being with Jenna- he didn’t know how to answer. Nine months of constantly being ignored could do a lot of bad to a man…

“you should call me sometime Mr. Depp…” She said softly, raising his hand to her lips.

Johnny had known Cameron was a flirt, and he always sensed she had a thing for him. He knew that one day she would eventually come on to him, and before Jenna got pregnant he knew straight away that he would turn her away and tell her if she tried something like that again- she would lose her job.

Johnny felt an internal battle. He had no feelings for Cameron what so ever. But she was the first person for the past 9 months to have given him honest attention. To talk to him, to hang out with him… to touch him with care.

Just as Cameron put his hand back down,, Tracey walked into the room taking her seat behind her desk.

“Hello Johnny…” She said his name in a less enthusiastic tone making Johnny smile.

“Trace, baby- you know you love flying.” He said, knowing she hated this act.

“about as much as I love spending time with you Johnny.” Tracey shot back, a smile on her face.

“Ouch!” He exclaimed.

“Cameron, what are you doing here?” Tracey asked suspiciously, P.A.’s were rarely ever involved in agency situations.

“Oh, I just wanted to come to Paris for a bit, thought I’d stop by and sit in, see what’s going on.” She replied innocently.

“Alright then. Johnny- how long are you planning this hiatus?” Tracey said, cutting straight to the point.

“Ugh Trace it’s only been like 6 months- and I won’t even consider looking at a script until summer! Especially with the baby coming and all probably at the end of this week-”

“I was just wondering Johnny- but I figured as much since that’s what George and Gerald told me about Jenna. But I’m not here to talk to you about that. Tomorrow night your film is going to be premiering in Italy, you need to make an appearance at least on the red carpet. Your flight will leave tomorrow morning, you’ll only be staying one night there and then you can come back here the next day.”

Johnny sighed, he most definitely didn’t want to leave. He wanted to stay and take care of Jenna, especially with time being so close to the birth.

“I don’t know Tracey…”

“Please Johnny- just one more time. It’ll hold the press off since you’ll be out of the spot for a while.” Tracey pleaded.

“Fine. But I hope neither you or they are expecting Jenna to come. I was scared enough when we went to the Oscars that something would happen God forbid to the baby.”

“Don’t worry I don’t expect it, but I don’t want you to be alone either. …Cameron will be going with you.”

“I’m home!” Johnny shouted as he walked through the front door.

“Hi daddy.” His beautiful young girl said smiling up at him, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

“Hi princess, how was school today?” He asked taking off his jacket.

“Boring…” Lily said sighing dramatically.

“Lily… what is it?”

“Well, there’s this audition-”

“A movie audition?”

“…..maybe.”

“absolutely not Lily.” Johnny said demandingly. Lily was just like her mom in every way- including her young desire for acting. But Johnny and Jenna’s rule was simple- she couldn’t do film acting until she turned 18. They didn’t want her to miss out on her childhood. Fame at only 15 was a big deal- and she would miss a lot if she had it.

“But dad-”

“No buts Lily. You know the rule. I don’t care if it’s directed by the Coen Brothers- You’re not auditioning for this movie. You‘re only asking me because we both know if you asked your mom she would demand you not do it until 21.”

Lily scrunched up her face at her father and growled walking away from him, mumbling angry words in French.

Johnny sighed and rubbed his eyes, he hated disappointing her, but it was for her own good. As he walked into the kitchen he spotted Danny sitting at the table with his head in his arms.

“we need to have a talk Dan…” Johnny said after pouring himself a cup of coffee and turning to his son who was dressed in all black- as usual. At receiving no answer Johnny continued. “I saw you crawl into your bedroom last night and vomit a sh*t load of what I assume is every drug imaginable into your toilet.”

“Yeah, and why do you care?” Danny asked carelessly as he looked up at his dad. He had his mothers bright green eyes which stood out immensely as he had inherited his dads dark jet colored hair.

“Danny- Don’t be stupid-” Johnny began angrily.

“Yeah well the last time I checked you seem to only care about your 3 other perfect children- even the deaf one who mumbles like a moron!” Danny shouted, he had slammed the backdoor before Johnny could get to him.

Johnny, who’s anger boiled untamed in his body turned to the kitchen door to see Tim walk in.

‘what’s wrong?’ he signed, noticing how angry his dad looked.

‘nothing.’ Johnny signed back, giving his youngest a smile. For once he was happy that Tim was deaf so he couldn’t hear Danny’s shouting about him as it had echoed throughout the house.

Giving Jack a kiss on his head, Johnny walked past him and up the stairs to look for his girl. Being caught off guard as he walked towards his bedroom, he ran right into his oldest, Jack.

“Hey dad, I could always knock some sense into Danny if you want.” he suggested.

“You’re too smart for that Jack, just please go downstairs and keep an eye on Tim. The kids at school have been teasing him nonstop and Danny hasn’t stood up for him once.”

“why am I not surprised. But yeah, I’ll hang out with him now, I have time.” Jack replied, he was always the more ‘hippiesh’ person of the family. His hair was shaggy and his scarf collection was huge, but yet his maturity was even larger.

Finally sighing as he closed his bedroom door behind him, he found Jenna hunched over the windowsill with her face in her hands.

“we have to do something about that kid.” She said softly, obviously talking about Danny.

“I know. But right now we have to take care of you and this kid.” Johnny said coming up behind her and rubbing her stomach.

After a few moments of silence, Johnny knew that now was the best time.

“I have to leave tomorrow morning to Italy. I’ll only be staying the night, I’ll be back the day after tomorrow.”

Slowly Jenna turned around facing him, obviously not happy. But to his surprise she didn’t say anything, only gave him a hard stare.

“Say something Jen-” He said softly.

“What do you want me to say? …I can’t believe that you actually agreed to go, you know the baby’s due in a couple of days.”

“Yes, I know I know- but I have to go.”

“No. You don’t have to go.” Jenna said brushing past him angrily, leaving him alone in the room.

That night Johnny couldn’t get a wink of sleep. But he wasn’t thinking about Lily’s wanting to audition, or Danny’s ‘issues’, or Tim being picked on or Jack- although all of their issues were in his mind, they weren’t what he was focusing on just then. He expected nothing less, they were going through their teenage years. The worst years of their life.

Johnny instead was thinking of the woman next to him. …when had she turned so cold?

All of a sudden as if on cue, Jenna bolted and sat right up, breathing heavily and sweating slightly.

“What’s wrong?” Johnny asked worriedly as he sat up too, rubbing her back lightly.

“I-In my dream… you died in it.” She said with a shaky voice, her wide eyes looking down still in a state of shock.

“What?” He replied surprised.

“You were dead in my dream… you died and left me all alone…” She said again, her voice obviously showing she was on the edge of tears. Wasting no time Johnny took her in his arms and let her cry into his chest.

“Shhhh… I’m not gunna die baby… I’m still here…” He whispered in her ear.

A bad time to pick up and go to Italy for two days with Cameron- that much he knew.

chapter 3

Johnny began to open his bag slowly, he could hear Cameron do the same in her room. Their rooms were separated by only one door- that had no lock on it. Cameron’s part had the t.v. and Johnny’s part had the kitchen, along with each of their bedrooms. This definitely made Johnny nervous.

He hadn’t expected to only have a door in between them, but with the premier, everything was overbooked and it was the best Tracey could get.

Johnny mindlessly looked through the items in his bag, he wasn’t even going to bother unpacking if he was only going to stay the night- but there were two items that he always took out.

Johnny placed the framed photographs on the dresser next to his bed so he could stare at them whenever he wanted.

In the first one, it was a close-up of Johnny and Jenna’s face, him behind her with their cheeks up against the others’ smiling- it reminded Johnny of the better times.

The other picture he remembered when Tim took the picture last summer at a barbeque between the Burton family and the Depp family. It was a common occurrence during summers where none of the adults were working, especially since they lived next door to each other.

In the picture Johnny was sitting down in a chair with his arm wrapped around Jenna’s waist as she sat on his lap with her arms wrapped around his shoulders, they were staring at each other with their noses touching, laughing, looking one another straight in the eyes. Around them were their children standing up all laughing and smiling- even Danny. Jack had his elbow resting on Danny’s shoulder, while Tim stood behind lily with his arms wrapped around her- Johnny’s heart fell as he took a closer look at the picture and saw that Tim’s practically useless hearing aid was in full view.

Sighing Johnny placed the picture back on the dresser thinking how badly he wanted things to be like they were in that picture again. Danny to be smiling and kind, Lily to not be begging for auditions… well that had never stopped but it didn’t mean Johnny still wasn’t wishing for it, Jack to not feel so much responsibility and to be more care-free as he used to be, and finally Timmy to not have the kids tease him in school.

Johnny had given Tim the same advice that Johnny’s mom had given him when he was a kid and people were picking on him. His mother told him precisely to pick up the nearest rock- and ‘do that damn kid in.’ Johnny had done it- and he felt good about it. But Tim, sweet Tim was too kind. While Danny who is completely ashamed of his challenged brother, has never helped him. That didn’t just anger Johnny and Jenna- it broke their hearts.

All of their children went to the same high school. Tim a freshman, beautiful Lily a sophomore, Danny a Junior, and Jack a senior. They were all pleasant, intelligent, and well balanced (well, three out of four).

Johnny chuckled at the thought that Tim was exactly like the man he was named after- kind, weird, and curly haired. Eventually when they would all get together confusion arose when someone would say the name ‘Tim’, so the nickname Timmy arose for Johnny’s little boy. A kid who deserved so much more in life.

“knock knock”

Johnny heard a light female voice from across the room on the other side of the separating door, breaking him from his trance.

“Uh.. Yeah I’m here, come on in.” He said not really thinking about where he was.

In no more than a split second Cameron was walking into his bedroom. He was finding her standing insanely close to him as she picked up the framed picture.

“Awe, how sweet.” She cooed. “I’ve never actually met your children.”

“Well you know me and Jenna- work and family are on waaay separate spheres.”

“Wow- your children are really attractive.” Cameron said with wide eyes. Johnny and Jenna knew that their children were quite good looking, it only worried Johnny more about Lily- and proved his point that she, in his words ‘hurry herself to a nunnery.’

“Thank you.” He replied simply, Cameron put the picture back down and turned to him.

“I don’t know why I was so surprised though, I figured they’d be so good looking since they are after all your children….”

Johnny cleared his throat as she got so close to him he could feel her breath on his face. Cameron began to lean up her lips so close to his, Johnny just stood there looking down at her- the entire scene playing out in slow motion. suddenly he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, just as her lips were to touch his.

“Hello?” He said with a shaky voice, turning away from Cameron immediately, he couldn’t believe he almost let that happen.

“Hey Johnny it’s Tracey- are you ok? You sound a bit shaken up?”

“Yeah, it’s cool. So, what’s the plan for tonight?”

“Arrive at the red carpet in about an hour and only take a couple of pictures for the paparazzi, then sign as many autographs as you want- and for you that’s everyone your arm can get to until someone forces you away from your fans- and then you can go back to your hotel room and relax. Sound good?”

“Sounds good trace- I’ll see you tonight.”

Johnny listened to the empty line for a bit to get his thoughts straight. Cameron wouldn’t be going with him to the premier, but she would be spending the night practically in the same place as him. And knowing her, she would insist they stay up late and talk as she usually did. But this time it would be different, because now Johnny knew- she had enough courage to go after what she wanted.

Johnny hung up his phone and turned to Cameron who looked at him with a smirk on her face. Johnny gulped air as he watched her slowly tip the photograph of him and Jenna so it was flat on the dresser before she sauntered out of his room giving him a good show of her rear end.

Chapter 4

Johnny sat on the floor laughing with Cameron, it was about 1 in the morning and just as he predicted they were sitting around talking.

“So you seriously don’t mind dressing in women’s clothing?” Cameron giggled.

“Well… no, I don’t mind. I’m not a cross-dresser or anything- I don’t do it in my spare time, but when the time calls for it, I’ve been known to strap on one sexy pair of high heels.”

As Cameron began to laugh again Johnny’s mind took him to a place back- far back. It was 17 years ago, Johnny and Jenna’s first couple of months together. Johnny remembered they had planned to have sex for the first time but unexpectedly her period had started and she refused to smile because she felt she had ruined everything. Johnny felt he had no choice.

During the last 20 minutes of ‘the notebook’ he snuck into her room, put on her clothes and makeup and lip synched to Aerosmith just to make her laugh. Even after all these years he could never forget a minute he’d had with her.

“what are you thinking about?” Cameron asked softly, noticing Johnny’s distant look.

“Oh…uh…” Johnny began to laugh lightly. “I was just remembering a time when my girl was down in the dumps, I had dressed up in her clothes, put on her makeup and lip synched to ‘Jaded’ just to get to smile…”

Once again Johnny found himself lost in his own world, before Cameron spoke up. “You’re one in a million Johnny.”

Johnny looked up at her with is eyebrows raised. “Who? Me? God no I’m not one in a million. I’m just a guy who’s been very much in love…”

“A guy in love with a girl who’s not treating him like she loves him.” Cameron said firmly. Johnny opened his mouth ready to reply, but nothing came out.

“Johnny… I know you’re a great guy- hell you’re f*cking amazing… but it’s such a shame that the girl who’s got you treats you like crap. I noticed it from the first day I started working with you-”

“Yeah but Cameron you have to understand that all of this came about during this pregnancy- she was never like this before-”

“Pregnant or not- you deserve someone who treats you just as well as you treat her.” Cameron said firmly.

Johnny didn’t know what to say, this was one of the few times that he had actually been rendered speechless. Most of those times he found was when he was with Cameron.

“Johnny…” Cameron began scooting closer to him. Johnny’s back was against the couch and now she was so close that he could smell her sweet perfume.

She raised her hand to his cheek, rubbing it lightly.

“Cameron… I’m too old for you.” He said with a light smile on his face.

“Johnny- I’m 37-”

“and I’m 42.”

“…You don’t look 42. Even in the magazine’s they say you don’t look a day older than 25.” She said seductively.

“Okay, so my Cherokee blood is giving me some good traits- but it doesn’t change the fact that I have a girl, a family-”

“A girl who doesn’t treat you well and a family I’m dying to meet…you‘re not even married to her-”

It seemed with everyone of her words she inched her face closer to his.

“Well, we’re as good as married. We consider ourselves married- contract or not.” Johnny said firmly. Even after all these years he could never forget the misunderstanding and nightmare that was created between him and Jenna almost 17 years ago.

“Well then…” She began straddling Johnny’s legs that were straight out in front of him. She sat on the top of his thighs, right below his member. “There’s still no binding contract.” She whispered her lips so close to Johnny’s.

Just as he was going to reply he mouth had landed on his. He knew it was wrong but it was heaven to be able to kiss someone with passion again- Johnny couldn’t believe it but he was actually kissing her back. In his latest movie, ’the Rum Diary’, he didn’t have to kiss anyone, so it had been a while for him.

Cameron slipped her tongue into his warm mouth taking Johnny by surprise and snapping him back into reality.

Immediately he broke the kiss and stood up, moving her away from him.

“Cameron, no. I can’t do this. I love Jenna. What’s happening now is just temporary-”

“if it’s just temporary- then why did you kiss me back?” She challenged, obviously not happy that he was denying her. Cameron was an unbelievably attractive woman, and Johnny knew that almost no one denied her.

“That was my d*ck talking- not my heart.” He said, so ashamed of himself. He’d never kissed another girl except Jenna- unless it was for a scene- and even then he didn’t kiss them like he’d kiss her. He’d almost given Cameron that.

“Well, all we need tonight is your d*ck to talk. We can worry about that second part later” She said smiling and standing up, Johnny swallowed.

Slowly she took off her t-shirt and sweat pants proving she had no underwear or bra on leaving nothing for Johnny’s imagination as he looked at her wide-eyed.

“It’s just one time Johnny…” She began seductively as she walked till she was right in front of him. “Then we can decide from there.”

She took his hand and placed his palm on her warm soft breast, making him unconsciously close his eyes at the contact. Cameron softly kissed his lips and whispered against them, “Tell me you don’t want me.”

“I do want you…” Johnny whispered.

Cameron smiled and leaned her lips up to his lips once more as Johnny let his hand fall from her breast. But before she could reach his mouth Johnny took his hands and held her head still, bringing his lips to her ear and her chin to his shoulder.

“I want you…” He whispered, “to put your clothes back on while I go back into my bedroom. Then by the time I come out again, I want you back in your room calling some of your connections to look for another job. And I want you to never mention Jenna again, because you don’t know the kind of woman she really is. A woman you’ll never live up to, no matter how many desperate guys you get to screw you. I’m not one of them.”

With that Johnny turned his back on Cameron walking straight on towards his room to call his girl, never looking back as he closed his bedroom door behind him.

For months Cameron had tortured him, showing him what he could have that he wasn’t getting at home. But it was as if in one huge flash between the time that Cameron had undressed herself and she had put his hand on her breast, his life before he had met Jenna popped into his head.

He hadn’t been speaking with his family, he did drugs, was constantly depressed, slit his wrists, even attempted suicide a couple of times. And then right after those popped into his head, one particular time put everything in complete perspective.

It was when Stacy had come, she had manipulated him and turned him against her. In one day of treating her like crap and one night of treating her almost like a common prostitute- he had almost lost her forever. Even today, Johnny knew that what he had done those 1 ½ days were a million times worse than what she had been doing to him- or rather not been doing to him for 9 months.

‘She’s my girl, stuck with me through everything- changed my world completely… she gave birth to our children and has been the most amazing mother to them for God’s sake!’ his voice screamed in his head the moment his hand touched Cameron’s breast.

So there Johnny sat on his bed. Still horny. Still aggravated from the lack of attention he was receiving at all ends of Jenna. But still crazy in love with that girl- after all these years.

His cell phone suddenly vibrated in his pocket, making him jump. Looking at the caller id, it read ‘lover’. Johnny smiled, opened the phone and held it to his ear.

“Hey Jen.” He said softly into the phone, but what he got in response was not what he had expected.

“Johnny?” Jenna wept, Johnny could hear her sob even though she tried to keep it down so the rest of the house couldn’t hear.

“Jenna, baby what’s wrong? Are you ok? Are the children ok? Is there something wrong with the baby??” Johnny asked urgently all in one breath.

“Yes Johnny we’re all fine…” She said blowing her nose.

He let out a sigh of relief as he laid back on the bed, happy it wasn’t something tragic.

“Well then, tell me what’s wrong cupcake.” he said.

“I had another dream Johnny… and you died in it.”

Just when he thought her voice had begin to calm down, she had broken into a heap of tears.

“What happened in it?” He asked calmly, hoping it would calm her down as well.

“I don’t know… we were just laying around, lounging on our bed, then all of a sudden you just died. I don’t know but you weren’t there anymore, I was all alone. You were gone, I knew you were dead!” She exclaimed before another wave of sobs had overcome her.

Before Johnny could speak she had continued desperately, “never leave me Johnny, I need you so bad- I can’t do this alone… I need you so much…” She repeated to him.

“Shhh baby, it’s ok, calm down.” He cooed softly into the phone. “I need you too, more than you’ll ever know. I won’t leave you baby… I’ll never leave you…”

chapter 5

Tim- or Timmy Depp, sat at the lunch table doodling in his sketch book as he ate his sandwich. He usually found himself sitting alone at lunch- none of the kids really wanted to sit with him. It was ok though, he was use to it.

The only thing that made him sad was knowing that Lily and Jack would most definitely sit by him- but they each had a different lunch time than him. Thus, making Tim have the same lunch time as his brother Danny.

‘no wonder I’m sitting alone.’ Tim thought to himself.

Just as he finished his drawing, a hand slammed his book shut. Tim looked up at the kid, he was no stranger to him.

Paul Dermit had been picking on Tim for the past year, taunting him constantly, because Tim was the only kid who had a disability at the American-French high school in Paris. Tim found himself unlucky, because he knew that Jack would stick up for him in a heart-beat, as would Lily, but he found that everything surrounded Danny. Their classes were near each others, they shared the same lunch times, had the same gym class, and Danny never stuck up for him.

“What’s wrong Timmy… deafness got your tongue?” Paul said his group of friends around him laughing. The entire cafeteria was watching them, it was their form of entertainment. Tim could only hear the tone of Paul’s voice, but he was an expert at lip reading and could form his words quite well when he spoke.

“Just leave me alone Paul.” Tim said, attempting to go back to his drawing.

“Just leave me alone Paul!” Paul mocked Tim, imitating his voice that sounded strange since he couldn’t hear himself when he spoke. The entire cafeteria broke out into laughter, It was only the sophomore and Junior class- but it was still quite a bit of people.

Tim couldn’t hear the laughs, but he saw it on people’s faces. He observed around him as he saw that almost all of the guys were laughing, while most of the girls laid low not laughing- but not sticking up for him either. Finally Tim’s eyes landed on Danny who sat at the top of the lunch table- not laughing but just staring as Paul continued to mock Tim.

When Danny’s eyes caught Tim looking at him, he immediately turned his head away-ignoring the silent pleas of his brother.

Without even bothering to look up at Paul, Tim grabbed his book and his messenger bag and walked away knowing that he was still being mocked as he walked out of the Cafeteria door.

‘don’t cry, don’t cry, don’t cry,’ Tim repeated to himself in his head, slamming his eyes shut.

“Jenna?” Johnny shouted dropping his bag on the floor, his voice echoed through the house. He knew the kids were at school, but he specifically told Jenna to stay at home until he came back- he didn’t want her to go anywhere alone when she was due any day.

“Jenna?” Johnny called out again as he walked up the stairs into their room.

Finally he opened the door and found her laying on her back atop of the covers on the bed, just staring at the ceiling.

“Jenna…” He whispered laying on the bed next to her, hovering over her as he leaned on his elbow. “What’s wrong?”

“I’m so tired…” Her soft voice said, “but I can’t go to sleep. I don’t want to go to sleep. What if I wake up and you’re not here.”

“Baby…” Johnny whispered, his fingers lightly tracing on her cheek. “I’ll always be here. Now come on, I’m tired too, we’ll both go to sleep. And when you wake up- I’ll still be here and you’ll be with me.”

Finally, Jenna’s eyes moved to look into his. “Promise?” She asked making him smile.

“I swear.”

Johnny helped Jenna move slowly to lay on her side so he back was towards his chest. Wrapping his arms around her, he took both of her hands in his and placed them over her Large stomach, falling asleep almost immediately.

“Pere… Pere…” A soft voice said in Johnny’s ear.

“Hmmm?” He replied, his eyes still shut knowing it was Lily.

“It’s almost dinner time.”

“Go order some food for everyone, your mom and I will be down in a bit.” He mumbled before hearing Lily walk out of the room closing the door behind her.

“Jenna…” Johnny whispered in his girl’s ear. “Jen wake up.”

No more then a second later did Jenna’s eyes burst wide open as she gasped for air, coughing and almost sobbing no doubt coming out of another terrible nightmare.

“Shh I’m still here.” Johnny whispered in her ear, making his hold on her as tight as possible. “See? It’s just a dream.”

Jenna rolled on to her back staring up at Johnny who was holding his weight on his forearms, not wanting to put any pressure on the belly.

“You are still here.” She said softly with a light smile on her face as she ran her fingers through his hair.

“I’m sorry Johnny.” Jenna said suddenly, making him furrow his eyebrows.

“For what?”

“for these past 9 months… I’ve realized in these past couple of days how badly I’ve been treating you. But I promise that after we get settled when the baby’s born- I’ll make it up to you… I swear I will. -as long as you won’t mind making love to a woman still chubby from giving birth, just had her tubes tied, and will poses a rather large pair of milk filled breasts.”

Johnny and Jenna broke out into laughter. He leaned down and rubbed his nose against hers looking her straight in the eyes. “I wouldn’t want to make love to anyone else.”

“Good. …I love you Johnny.”

“And I love you baby.”

“DINNER’S HERE!! WOOOOOO!!!!” Jack’s voice shouted throughout the whole house making Johnny and Jenna chuckle, their son always did think with his stomach first.

“So how was school?” Jenna asked taking a huge bite from her pasta, they had ordered her 2 entrées knowing the consequences would be horrific if they had only ordered one.

“It was a BOOOORREEE.” Jack whined, he had wanted to drop out after sophomore year but his parents refused to let him.

“Same old same old.” Lily replied, not really caring too much for the subject.

Tim and Danny avoided their parents eyes, neither not wanting to answer. Tim, because he was ashamed and embarrassed by what happened. Danny because he didn’t want to face anyone about it.

Tim felt his shoulder being shook and finally looked up at his father who signed, ‘what’s wrong?’

‘nothing.’ Tim signed back.

‘Tim was being teased today and Danny did nothing.’ Jack signed angry.

Johnny dropped his fork, ‘is this true?’

‘then entire school knows about it, Paul wouldn’t stop bragging for the rest of the day.’ Lily signed to the table.

‘it’s really ok-’ Tim began to sign before his father cut him off.

‘No. It’s not.’

Danny looked up at his dad and saw anger burning in his eyes, finally his eyes landed on his mom who looked at him with absolute sadness.

‘I’m so disappointed in you Danny.” She signed before sighing and laying her forehead on Johnny’s shoulder.

Johnny threw his napkin down, raised his finger at Danny ready to give him a piece of his mind once and for all. But before he could, he was cut off.

“OH MY GOD.” Jenna bellowed gasping and grabbing her stomach.

“Baby, what is it?” Johnny asked worried.

“….My water just broke.”

Chapter 6

“YOU BASTARD YOU DID THIS TO ME!!!!” Jenna shouted at the top of her lungs before vaulting her palm against Johnny’s cheek.

“OUCH!” He shouted putting his hand against his abused cheek.

Jenna was already three hours into labor as she laid on the table and he sat and waited till it was time for the baby to come out. Their kids sat in the waiting area along with Tim, Helena, and George and Gerald who had flown in from London at last minute.

Johnny had been right next to Jenna during all four of their children’s birth- this marking the fifth. But this time it was different. Jenna was sweating more, heaving for air- and as he recalled even after 14 years since the last time she had given birth- he’d never remembered her being in this much pain.

Granted Johnny knew that a woman giving birth went through the worst pain imaginable in the world- but he had never actually seen her sob only 3 hours into labor. As far as they knew they could be there for 72 hours.

“Monsieur Depp… Une fois la femme obtient violent nous pensons c'est meilleur pour la sûreté de l'homme qu'il part la pièce. (once the woman gets violent we think it's best for the safety of the man that he leave the room.)” The doctor said as if he were talking about the weather, smiling at Johnny who found this all quite comical.

“No no no baby don’t leave me please I need you here don’t go I’m sorry…” Jenna rambled on and on sobbing, Johnny immediately grabbed her hand and squeezed it turning to the doctor.

“Merci pour votre inquiétude, mais violent ou pas- je reste avec ma fille. (Thank you for your concern, but violent or not- I'm staying with my girl.)” Johnny replied smiling turning back to Jenna.

“How do you feel darling?”

Jenna breathed quickly, her chest heaving and her body completely flushed and sweaty as tears unconsciously rolled down her cheeks.

“It hurts so bad Johnny, even with all the drugs…” She sobbed. Not a moment later did he stand up and wrap his arms around her shoulder, bending over so he could bury his face in her hair that still smelled sweet.

“I’m here with you… we’ll do this together.” He whispered kissing the top of her head before sitting back down in his chair still holding her hand, smiling at her.

Jenna noticed that they were now the only ones in the room, she didn’t know if it was out of hormones or from the drugs- but she all of a sudden felt the need to confess all the emotions she’d held up inside her for way too long.

“Listen Johnny I know this isn’t the right time…” She said breathing heavily, her free hand placed over her stomach. “but I have a confession to make.”

Johnny looked at her confused, urging her to continue- not caring whether it was the right time or not.

“… I started getting the nightmares since the beginning of the pregnancy…” Jenna said, unable to look at Johnny who looked at her with wide eyes.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” Johnny demanded.

“Because I was too busy being jealous and acting like I didn’t need you.”

It was as if the words were vomited out of Jenna’s mouth because they came out so quickly, even Johnny saw that the moment they had come out- she had regretted saying it.

“Jealous of who?” Johnny said, trying to keep calm and remember that she was going to birth his child and she didn’t need more stress.

“Cameron.” Jenna said beginning to sob.

Johnny just sat staring at her with his jaw agape his heart beating a million times faster. Jenna began to speak up again not letting Johnny say anything.

“She was hired at the beginning of the pregnancy, a hotter, younger, blonder- most definitely thinner woman than I am! I always saw her eye you and then I’d look down at myself and think why the hell as to why you are with me. I tried to convince myself that I didn’t need you, I saw Cameron taking you away from me and I had to stick my ground. I thought maybe you were… sleeping with her. I started having nightmares that you died, that you left me because I thought that you would!” Jenna began to sob immensely into the palms of her hands, but her shocking words still came out crisp and clear to Johnny’s ears. “So I pushed you away for these past nine months- just incase you decided to leave me. -This f-fat, worthless girl w-who’s only good for carrying children- 17 years together and I’ll never be good enough to please you l-like Cameron!!!”

Before Johnny had a moment to register the colossal amount of shock that over took him, a split second after her rant of honesty- Jenna braced herself against her elbows, slamming her eyes shut and screaming at the top of her lungs.

Doctors ran into the room, ready for Jenna to push the baby out. Forcing himself to push anything else but the baby out of his mind- Johnny re-grabbed Jenna’s hand and squeezed it urging her along with the other doctors.

“Come on baby push… you can do it…” Johnny said softly to her as the doctors encouraged as well, but all Jenna could hear was his voice.

Gritting her teeth, using all of her strength imaginable, Jenna screamed as she pushed- feeling her insides split in two.

“She’s crowning!” The doctor shouted, but Jenna knew the worst wasn’t over.

Pushing again with even more force, Jenna squeezed Johnny’s hand as if her life depended on it. After her push Jenna knew that she still had the rest of the baby’s body to go.

Letting her back fall against the perched up pillows, she began to sob. Never out of all four pregnancy’s had they been this painful.

“No more… I can’t… I’m so sorry I can’t…” Her tiny voice whispered as tears ran down her cheek mixing with the sweat that drenched her.

“Jenna- we need to push the rest of this baby out now!” The doctor urged only making her sob.

Suddenly she felt her head being turned, forcing her eyes opened she looked into the eyes of the man that she would die for.

“Jen… do this one last push. I know you can do it.” He urged softly, his heart breaking as he watched her nod her head at him- even when she was in so much pain she would do anything to make him happy. It had to be done.

Taking a large breath Jenna braced herself one more time, pushing harder than she ever thought possible. Grinding her teeth together a large growl erupted in her chest- not a moment later only to be mixed with the sounds of a baby crying. Her body fell backwards from exhaustion.

Even with the pain still surging through her, Jenna couldn’t help but smile and laugh as she saw her baby.

Johnny cut the umbilical chord as he had done with their other children as well, taking the small baby in his arms. He placed their child between them, feelings of euphoria flooding both of the parents senses as they looked down at their baby. Another piece of them that they created.

The doctors were already tying her tubes not wasting any time. It was when Jenna took Johnny’s hand that they averted their attention to each other just as the nurse took their child out of the room to newborn care.

“Take care of our little girl.” Jenna whispered smiling at him before closing her eyes, her head falling back.

As if in a flash, a loud constant beep sounded throughout the room.

She had flat lined.
Jenna’s heart had completely stopped.

The Very Begining

  • Dec. 10th, 2006 at 11:14 AM

Hello everyone!

This is my very first live journal- I think it's a great new way to get my writing out there.

I love writing Fanfiction (ESPECIALLY Johnny Depp) and I've been writing it for a really long time. But I simply would love to write something specifically someone wants written. I'm currently writing Johnny fiction in the fanfiction section of JohnnyDeppfan.com and have some fanficion on Fanfiction.com, I'm J-Depp Girl on both.

Feel free to ask for any type of fiction (Especially Depp) to be written, it's a passion of mine and you won't regret it! They can be ANY rating, and no matter what it'll be my best.
